Far from finished the whole episode but I really like the vibe of the Sparkwind, always a big fan of long, 'bright' nights being part of a setting, always makes me think of the First Age of Arda before the Sun as made.

how would one figure out how high a difficulty check should be math wise? so as we know in dnd, 10 1/2 of d20 is the base line for dnd. So how would i get a base line number in ryuutama?

@@DragonicDude that’s a great question! I’d think it would be found in a similar way in Ryuutama. Half of the median die size for a party would be an average roll, so if there’s a mix between d4-d8 for everyone at lower levels, you could say a d6 is the average, and that a 3-4 would be a good DC to set for something that is achievable, but not a sure-fire thing. When it comes to the various travel checks, there are actually factors within the rule book that let you know how difficult a roll may be-whether it’s raining, snowing, or if you’re in a swamp versus grassland. I hope this helps!

@@samsolitaryroll that’s awesome! The critical hit one is really nice, especially since it eliminates the bummer of rolling a one on damage for a crit and only doing like 4-6 damage.
