If you lost 3rd and od at the same time it may be the small input shaft broke. It controls 3rd and od. I have a nonlock converter and hardened shaft to help prevent that.. check and if your fluid is good I'd guess it's that. Super easy to change as long as it's not broke way up in there.
@flyinhigh4503 ай бұрын
Trans is fully built with billet servos, TCI input shaft, all ALTO clutches with the best valve body kit.. What happened was the inside of the trans filter come apart and plugged the filter hole at the other end.. Watch the video where I good the valve body off, I show the filter.
@mattmeyers813 ай бұрын
@@flyinhigh450 I did see that after I commented on it. Never seen then do that before lol.. I have alot of the same done to my trans. I run a pa street/strip vb and the hi rev governer kit. With that tur o kit your car would benifit with less gear to load that turbo. She rips tho!
@flyinhigh4503 ай бұрын
@@mattmeyers81 I haven't seen it either and done thousands of filters. The fabric inside of it come apart and plugged the hole on the other side, fried the direct drum clutches and thats why I have no 3rd or OD. Other than 3600 stall, Billet servo, hardened TCI input shaft--> I have 4r70w internals so I can use the wider Kevlar overdrive band and I used the full Summit AOD rebuild kit with ALTO Red clutches. The Summit kit is $350.00 and comes with all brand new lip seals so for sure getting another over winter and rebuilding it. I Also have the full Baumann electronic controlls shift kit which has all the billet SONNAX valve and other upgrades, runs full TV pressure and I never have to touch the shifter which mean no AOD shuffle lol. The whole drivetrain in this car was in my old red convertible that I wrecked a few months ago . Everything went into this car other than rear end, I have fully built 8.8 with 4:10 gears but bent the passenger side axle a little bit so just waiting to rebuild it over winter. The rear end in this car is a 7.5 with 2:73 gears, 1 wheel peel LOL.
@mattmeyers813 ай бұрын
@@flyinhigh450 I have the sonnax boost valve in mine as well as high rev governer kit in it. I never do the shuffle either. I have the bauman kit still sitting in the box on a shelf. Was thinking about putting it in this winter to up the shiftpoints a little. Right now with the vb I have in it it shifts at 5200 wot.

I went about 125 for 3 hours in my 81' Turbo Trans Am...modified a bit...But with a LOT less traffic than you...winter time on an old US highway at 1am. BTW flyinhigh...you just beat a Tesla Plaid Model S....they can only do 125 for 1 hour.

Damn lol. My 1978 Trans Am can get up to 105mph if I pray real hard. Mine is completely stock and fully restored though. Its slow, but lots of fun.

Killed the pm almost instantly and the plants absolutely loved it! I see what you mean about nice shiny leaves! What a game changer. Thanks again, and happy growing brother!

With a top loader four speed behind it going to ford nine inch with 410 gears.... I could get rubber in all four gears 😂❤
