Yay another frankenplanner! Yours is way prettier then mine❤. Wish i could get a mushroom hole punch for my franklin covey - its a weird spacing
@inkedscroll20 күн бұрын
I like the concept of a frankenplanner, now I am working out the right pages for each planner. I got my punch from Amazon and it has been worth it since I do a lot of printable pages. Thank you for saying my planner is pretty and for watching.
@melusine82612 күн бұрын
@@inkedscroll Yeah, still figuring out what i need as well, so Ive mixed in some dot pages, templates from others, and some of my own. hmmm, I wont use Amazon, but if I can find one elsewhere I will. also looking to swap out my rings to a standard spacing and THEN buy a punch- will make it much easier to find pre printed refills
@inkedscroll12 күн бұрын
@melusine826 I like being able to mix pages. The beauty of planning is that we make the journals our own when we move in and embrace the journey of creating and using it.

I'm setting up 5 composition books for the next year or longer for projects in different categories. One for the master journal with all the goals and personal things, a crafting one for some multi year projects, a writing journal, gaming one to track a few game projects and to flesh out a game idea I have then the final one for tech things. 😂 We will see how that all works. I I'm definitely going to vouch for the affordability of the composition books and dollar store stationery supplies. They may not be the prettiest but it will get you going anyway.

That is awesome, I always like when others find creative ways to use notebooks. I hope it all works out for you. Sometimes it is about having something useful and affordable and sometimes it is about the aesthetic aspect. A little bit of both for me.

Super creative--I'd love to see some of the insides or layouts that show how you used these items. It's definitely possible to spend all of your money on planner supplies, but I love how you are showing that it is equally possible to prepare a planner you love without spending a ton of money. Also I didn't know about the punch you have--I have the Happy Planner punch that is a full sheet of paper (the 8.5 x 11 printer paper, as it is what is in my daily work log)--which could be super useful for smaller papers.
@inkedscroll5 ай бұрын
Thank you - I plan on setting up my planner with the items for next quarter and next year and will definitely share those layouts. That punch was a great investment especially since I am making my own dashboard/separators which are too thick for the full sheet punch ( I messed up a few pages). I found it on Amazon - we r memory keepers crop-a- dile punch.

@shawnandlisamason9533 - the one in the video is a 7 × 9. I have found this a great size for me and I can make it an all-in-one. I used to use a 5 x 7 journal. I think 4 x 6 is a good size but I just bought a bigger purse lol

@shawnandlisamason9533 - I understand about the hip and back - we joke that I carry a fifty-pound bag. I think having the ability to adjust and pull pages is why I like the disc-bound planner and it can be adjusted to any size planner. If the pages are not working I pull them. Thank you for watching my videos and connecting with me.

It does take a lot of pre-planning but sometimes that can be a good thing.
@karencarter33126 ай бұрын
I love this idea and am really interested in doing it myself. I do have a question though. Why are you gluing pages together in the middle of the notebooks? Is it so that they stay together? And do you glue the pages where the two notebooks meet? Thank you.
@inkedscroll6 ай бұрын
Hi, I am glad I was able to give you inspiration for your own journal. I glued the pages in the middle to connect the two books and give it a little more support in the middle so it does not split apart or weaken the spine with both books pulling separately. I was also trying a method to make the pages thicker and have less bleed through.

This was interesting:) I have a question; How do you use your decoration in your monthly plan? Do you, for example, use stickers to mark where something will happen that you are looking forward to/r excited about, Or do you use stickers where there are empty space or maybe some free time/holiday time that you are looking forward to? Oh, and one more thing: I seem to remember that you had such a gr8 system in one of your earlier episodes, about your house- chores. a system for tasks to be done like daily, weekly, every other week, and so on. Can't you get that into your new BJ? Love your videos! <3
