Hey man, Happy New Year! All the best on your channel. I just decluttered my perfumes and got rid of 18 bottles. 15 were middle easterns. And they were all hypes. Honestly, gourmand and sweets aren't for me. There is just one that is still on my mind. It's Lattafa Wajood. Apparently it's a clone (very similar) of Kenzo Homme EDT Intense. Is it really?

Encre noire costs like $20-25. I can't believe somebody actually cloned it. 😂

A few months ago, I wore like 5-10 sprays of Replica’s Coffee Break to work and after I had the fan facing me for a good 15+ minutes, a coworker walks in and loudly comments on how the room smelled weird, like disgusting. I was like… it might be my new fragrance😅

I was shocked by Azzure Oud. It’s hard to believe people actually want to smell like that. It’s a car wreck; diesel, oil, antifreeze, burning wires, burning hair, melting polyesters… I almost never say this, even about fragrances that I don’t like, but Azzure Oud is an abomination.

Love this review. And I agree with you 💯 on Initio as well. I bought a sampler bottle 10ml and I would not buy it again. Now INITIO REHAB, now that is a different story. Love Rehab! I will try the Vintage Radio and order a bottle today based on other reviews and your assessment of its projection and it's long lasting. I don't like anything that is less than 10+ hours on my skin and less than 6-8 hours of projection. Another GREAT one to try is Mancera's Aoud Vanille. That is my #1 fragrance for the past few years! Great scent! 💯 💪

I agree with you, 9PM is not really wearable. Too much of the apple accord in it, that oil has a very synthetic aspect when the concentration is heavy, and with a big dose of coumarin, it is tough on the nose. It doesn't smell bad, but it doesn't smell good either... it is just too synthetic. I understand some people will like it, but I'm pretty sure we can all agree that it is not a refined fragrance, the quality is more like a febreeze air spray. Some people must have been paid to hype it that much.

3:53 in regards to Moscow Mule, I get the same way with their Appletini. I feel fatigued when Ive worn it. I feel like I'm being wrapped in plastic with that synthetic smell.

However, I’ve found that those fragrances have “new flankers” (that I didn’t know about) and I got my self some of those “newbies”: Pasha de Cartier Parfum and Declaration de Cartier Parfum. I’m in love with them. Also I treat my self with a Gucci Guilty Absolute, Terre D’Hermès EDT, Prada L’Homme EDT and the Intense version. I also got some Middle Eastern fragrances: Insurrection II Wild from Rayane Tradition, Lattafa Oudain, Rasasi Brilliant Silver, Armaf Excellus, and some more…🙃🫠

I don't think I could agree with you more, I don't like 9pm either. I got a bottle about 2 weeks ago and now I'm doing my best to use it up as quick as I can just to get rid of it.

The note you’re referring to with Tonka Oud is Heliotrope. Heliotrope can come off as bitter almond and cherry. It’s hard to isolate either note.

Recently smelt 9 PM on a friend, better than expected, maybe I'll consider it

My worst blind buy (not of 2024 but 2022) was Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud. Too linear and overwhelming.

I would have to say that my best and worst blind buys were Worst - Zimaya Musk is Great, smells like cheap bug spray and chemicals and you can barely scrub it off😂 Best - Banana Republic Cypress Cedar, smells like a smoother more refined Terre D'Hermes EDT, it's very easy to wear and I love it

Not sure if it counts as a blind buy because i watched your review and bought it without smelling it but it was Vintage Radio by lattafa, it might honestly become my signature fragrance except in summer. Absolutely gorgeous plum note, and it's different enough for me to like it yet mass appealing enough for everyone around me to like it

My favorite of the year is Lattafa Teriaq Intense! Can’t get enough of this one. Niche quality, spicy peppery opening with a perfect balance of sweetness,ambery resinous,vanilla and a hint of smoke. Masculine leaning unisex fragrance, great projection and lasts 7+ hours.

I never understood the hype with 9PM. The synthetic sweetness gives me a massive headache every time. Ramz is much better in my opinion.
