Everything you say here about being rude is true. It reminds me of Jeremiah 49:16. "Your fierceness has deceived you." For years, I thought it was normal to be in fight mode because I had to fiercely advocate for my son with autism and epilepsy to get him basic and obvious supports. While it was and still is necessary to fight for my son, God has graciously taught me to be more focused, not fierce, in pursuits of justice.

I was not a good mother to my children. I had my first daughter at 14 years old by 24 years old I had my four children. I just turned fifty. My oldest daughter doesn’t talk to me and honestly I do not blame her, I was verbally abusive and sometimes physically. I’ve asked her for forgiveness many times but she can’t get past the way I treated her. I recently met Jesus and gave my life to him, still struggling with changing my life . But definitely not where I was. I was not a good example and did not bring them up in believing in God. It is hard for me to forgive myself for being a bad mom. I love my children so much and want my daughter’s forgiveness. She went through a lot because of me. I didn’t have a nice childhood I was raped by my own father. I was in and out of group homes and foster care. But that is no excuse of how I treated my children.. How can my daughter forgive me if I can’t forgive myself.

God thank you for sending me this book and introducing sister Stormie to my life. I believe You have made me a new wife and therefore have renewed my husband. Our marriage is blessed and its prosperity will be used to glorify You.
