I'm trying to become a pilot. I'm pretty new to this, do all flight schools prepare you for all the certifications? I'm seeing a lot of flight schools near me only mentioning a 'private pilot' license. Don't I need a commercial pilot license to become an airline pilot ? I'm a bit confused here. Do we take the exam for both a private and commercial pilot certification?

You can actually go to a Regional at 21 with a restricted ATP with this program. Even without going through an approved university program or military training. You need to get the full 1500 hours and can't fly as a captain until 23. But still an excellent choice.

That is a sharp side if the birds trike could get closer to the propeller and there was no sharp side like that metal the propeller would break from the bird getting sucked in it. If there was a sharp side, like that metal it will cut the bird in half and the propeller won’t broke👏🤝

Im 60 now but when I was a kid my Dad introduced me to a very old pilot in Merritt Island Airport in Florida he showed me his original pilot license he carried around in his wallet. It was signed by Orville Wright!

Nothing wrong with either direction however I’m happy with the route I chose. I went to an accelerated academy and went from 0 hours to 1500 hours with a job secured at a leading fractional ownership corporate jet company all in 16 months. There’s no perfect way, everybody will find their own way. Also I’d say your age really plays a roll in deciding. If you’re 18 years old you might as well go to college to kill some time and get a solid education before you turn 23. Most jobs don’t require college including majors.

Can I do flight school in the summer while being a full time business student?

Definitely finish college first, preferably with a marketable degree. In the event you aren’t hired by a good paying company, or have disqualifying medical issues, at least you have an education.

Degree is a waste of time, unless they change the hiring requirements. But as of now it’s pointless to check the box. Getting a non aviation degree as a back up isn’t a bad idea
