If you pause at 0:59 I see a piece of foam in the car bottom left of the air box. That leads to a hose behind the air box. What is the purpose of the hose and why does it need this foam?

I removed it once because it was old and ripped, I thought it shouldn’t be there. I could barely reach 25 mph and would have low RPM. After putting it back, it was normal again. I’m not sure why though

This is precisely why Modestep was so fascinating to me when I first heard recordings of their concerts; I had never really heard or even thought of the combination of a DJ playing dubstep tracks and a full-on rock band at the same time, and no one else was really doing that at the time either (except for maybe Pendulum, but it was later on when I heard them perform because I hadn't really heard them much). Personally though, I much prefer the sound of Modestep's concerts from 2012-2013 as apposed to later on. My reason for preferring that sound will require a bit of a long explanation though, but I'll go ahead and write it here because I feel like it:) If you're not already aware, Modestep changed their lineup at some point in 2014. The original guitarist, Nick, left the band and so did the drummer Matthew. Kyle and Pat (guitarist and drummer, respectively) replaced them. So what does this have to do with a change in sound? Well, one of the things that made Modestep concerts so interesting to me in 2012 is that Matthew was playing on acoustic drums, which is pretty obvious even for a visually impaired listener like myself. When you add in the electric guitars, you really get the impression of hearing a conventional rock band like how rock bands have sounded for decades; it's absolutely clear that there are real acoustic and electric instruments like in a real rock band. Combine that with the electronic drum and synthesizer sounds from the tracks being played by the DJ, and you create a very interesting contrast; it's quite a unique sound! When I first heard a recording of Pat (the new drummer) playing with Modestep in a live show, the change was enormous. It was obvious that Pat was playing on electronic drum triggers, which were triggering electronic drum machine-like sounds! And to the casual observer or to a visually impaired person, this would appear to sound like a guitarist playing over a drum machine as apposed to a real drum kit or a guitarist playing with just a DJ, and when the drummer does play acoustic drum sounds (because he does have some acoustic drums in addition to the electronic ones I think), it would sound as if the drummer is extremely lazy even though he's actively playing along with the DJ in reality. I think some people have even claimed that Pat is "faking" his drum playing because the drum sounds he's triggering often sound roughly similar to the drum sounds from the original track! So I guess my point is that when you almost completely remove the acoustic drum sounds and replace them with synthesized drum sounds, it's not the same; that contrast I talked about above that made Modestep so unique to me is almost nonexistent. I should add here that the band Pendulum also uses electronic drum sounds as apposed to acoustic ones, and they also combine electronic dance music with rock music. But see, that's the thing; Modestep were different in that there was that contrast between acoustic drum sounds and the electronic drum sounds from the pre-recorded tracks being played by the DJ. When Matthew left, Modestep's live shows just sounded more like pendulum or a similar band; combining electronic drum machine-like sounds with electric guitars has already been done before (even before Pendulum did it, I'd imagine) and it's just not that unique anymore. If I'm gonna drum along to an EDM song (even on an electronic drum kit), I'd much rather use the sound of acoustic drums because I like that contrast between the drum machine-like sounds and the acoustic drum sounds; they sound so cool when played together and you can easily differentiate them when played together. It's a hybrid between the analog and digital drum sounds, if you will. OK, this comment is quite long I know, I just thought I'd express my thoughts here:)

I have PCV and wideband, i got mine tuned by a local shop and they told me the wideband isnt needed after a tune. But as temps dropped I'm having the similar effects too, it bogss on lower rpms, I think I need to switch the spark or retune for lower temps
