I was getting out motored for sure. Both Tem and I were running 21.5

My 21.5 is light on the drag break. Momentum is your friend without the extra motor. My breaks are at 100 in the esc and I adjust them with the transmitter as needed.

Not mine, five minutes from my house here in Deland. The owner is considering a timing system and has all the equipment to keep it maintained.

All grip and rip, it really makes you focus on your line, cornering, etc. Good stuff. Astro though 👌 is where it's at.. best of both worlds.. lots of grip but still some slip.

@gainsrc Yeah I'm really looking forward to driving on that new k&k layout. It's a quite a trek for me though coming from DeLand, about 3.5 hour drive. I always have a good experience there though.

For this layout it was a few different materials to make it work. Sheet metal for the back of the structure back filled with dirt/sand. Plywood for the vertical part of the inside and shingles where the dirt met the plywood. Finally a two foot tall strip of thin pvc board over the shingle, dirt, plywood seam. Astro on top and you have a berm.

Its not weird at all and works quite well. Yes we run slicks with sauce.

It's just sand. It's Florida so its just dirt/sand and no rocks here. We dug a hole (shallow hole) to put the above ground pool in and then that sand got spread onto where the track is now. We ran it as a dirt track for about a year and then started adding sections of household carpet. We took the final step and six of us through in together to pay for the astro. It's fun as shit.

@GroundSwell Racing lucky no rocks lol I'm on a huge rock and can't dig down 12 inches without hitting chunks. Limestone capitol of the world here. Nice track tho 👌
