What direct action? Not in Faroe Island, Iceland, Gulf of Mexico. They are now working with security forces with pro-whaling African nations. Uses donations to file lawsuits which they lost and had to pay a 25K $ fine.

As for me personally, I want to work with any group using direct action to save our seas. Unfortunately, seems Paul likes to just lie and rant online to try and bully an effective organization into the ground. Do the fish off the coast of Namibia not matter to you? The reason Sea Shepherd was in Namibia was to patrol for illegal fishing vessels in the region. Which is very important for the ocean as a whole. Alex was a Captain for the Whale Wars era of Sea Shepherd. Stop sipping the kool-aid kid.

@@Kittykong78 there was no vote. There was no board meeting. The judge in Amsterdam ruled that the dismissal of Paul Watson from the board had been indeed done in an illegal manner. And even though, why not confront him on the reasons he sacked him ? If he's got so great arguments he should use them to publically shut him up, once and for all. To set the record straight and finally give an answer to all those who want and deserve to know why the Founder has been sacked. Hiding in silence won't do him any good. It will never die out as he hopes it will. Never. He and the other 3 owe an explanation to the public. Maybe not to the ones of your kind who don't need any convincing but hey, they are plenty who do. And rightfully so. Again, until the truth gets out, this will never die out.

It’s the biggest impact towards whales by far and Sea Shepherd is now going after illegally operating fishing vessels which in turn, saves whales. This idea that Sea Shepherd stopped or doesn’t care about whales is quite silly. The goal of Sea Shepherd has always been to make the biggest impact with the limited resources they have. This is what they are doing.

So embarrassing to see Alex Cornelissen pretending to be the leader of a movement he stole through a malicious hostile and unlawful takeover. He does not even know our history stating that Japanese whaling was ended in the Southern Ocean in 2014 by the International Court in the Hague yet Operation Relentless in 2015 and Operation Nemesis in 2016 were still opposing illegal Japanese whaling in the Southern Ocean. I mentored this guy, made him a captain, gave him his position as a director and CEO of Sea Shepherd Global only to have him dismiss me from the movement I created without a meeting, a discussion or a vote so that he and his three friends could control something that was the most aggressive marine conservation movement on the planet and turn it into a mainstream noncontroversial organization under their control to guarantee their own job security. He betrayed our movement in an very deceitful manner. He is a coward and a thief and he has ruined Sea Shepherd the movement turning it into a charade of impotent pretenders.

One of the strange things about the British is that we quite like being told what a complete disaster things are. We enjoy being told its a grim, no hope catastrophe. We don't trust anyone that says things are going well. Being involved in a total balls up is just what we do. That weirdly contrasts with the other half of the national psyche which has a strange kind of relentless dogged optimism and total unwillingness to look facts in the face. "Mustn't grumble", "It could be worse" etc. That kind of attitude is very difficult to beat as countless dictators have found to their cost. You can grind the British into virtual dust and yet there we are, we'll still keep coming back. We just don't care what the odds are or how beaten up we are or how bad the situation seems to be. We are the Rocky of world history. You can bet that no matter how fucked the UK might be, it will get better.

Poland -- each child gets £160 pcm. No limits, no reductions. You have 10kids, its 10 x £160pcm + 10x other ad hoc benefits starting school allowance, or birth bonus. This country is now too poor for Polish people. They are slowely but surely living not coming anymore. That was what Brexiteers wanted so they have it. Almost 90k Europeans left the UK last year so Brexit works.
