Bro... I have been using Ableton for literal decades and I never knew you could click that little button up at the top of the channel strip and see a whole expanded mixer for each drum sound. I always do that stuff down below in the device view. That alone has changed my life. Like, I knew you could group tracks and do that, but I didn't realize a drum kit was the same thing.

@infiniteheight I just bought my 2nd MC 707 on Ebay for £5.20 mint condition and best of all the Guy who was selling it had loaded 72 Amazing Zen Core Synth Patches on to it beforehand... RESULT.... I HONESTLY Don't know what I'd do Without it, just the fact alone that it can be used as an 8 channel mixer with incredible Multi FX IS enough to win me over but then there's Everything else .....jaffa Jenkins jams

Hi @infiniteheight , how much is important the mode "edit voice" on this machine? Which are the things I can't do without that mode? Because I purchased one rs7000 and I Discovered that this button doesn't works 😢😢 thank you in advance for your help ❤

It's quite important I'm afraid. It gives access to various filters that you can't (to my knowledge) access in any other way. Maybe try to see if you can get it fixed! Cheers

Oh that’s cool! What’s the best option to render drums from steps? Like if I want get separate tracks of each sound in project
@infiniteheightАй бұрын
Glad you like it! To my knowledge, the best way is to set the input on an audio channel to the output of the track from the drum rack you want to record. Choose "post fx" to record any track processing, "pre fx" records without. There's a third option also, "post mixer," but instead of recording like that, I'd just group the new audio tracks and copy whatever chain that was on the drum rack. Hope that helps!

Excellent! I've listened to the track at least 20 times now and I think it's great, great atmosphere, lots of liveliness. I use the RS7000 as my main sequencer for MIDI synths, but I seem to have underestimated the sonic possibilities of the RS.
@infiniteheightАй бұрын
Thanks a lot mate. I think most users scoff at the internal sounds but patience and an open mind will go a long way in crafting something worthwhile. RS or elsewhere.

I really like the workflow. But you have only one pattern (up to 128 steps) with 16 tracks, correct ? I have never used a DAW and look for a way to do more with my eurorack than just make "patches", somehow arrange stuff, make little sketches, but shy away from getting an expensive computer and learn a DAW from ground up. The simplicity of this speaks more to me than a Digitakt or MPC but i am not sure if its not too limited with not being able to have more patterns like any drum machine would have.
