This was a project I was working on installing this system. We dont carry the Lenel System but I can do videos on access control systems in general to help you. As far as programming thats a 30 day course and a registered company would have to send you to training, but you can learn the theory to help you understand how the system works and operate.

@gjergjqeriqi7235 If a person is in the elevator at the time of an alarm, the elevator will go to the first floor to let you out. Elevator recall only recalls the elevator to a floor. Elevator shunt will cut the power. This happens when the heat detector in the elevator pit has been active.

Yea, bro. If you are getting a gig at Siemens, that's a good look. Starting with a big company they will train you. The first step will be to get your S95 or S98 from FDNY or try to find outside training like esaweb.org or National training Center for Nicet certification.

1620 key is the universal (for more than just elevators) fireman service key for NYC. 2642 is the elevator-specific NYC fireman service key.

Our installations can be simple 1/2 day jobs or complex 14 day installs, so we need to have the option for multiple visits and also 3 split payments. Yes, you could partially close a work order and set multiple service dates. All the service reports will be under one work order.

Hey so as a new business. In particular my business isn’t niche down, I want to be able to subcontract work out. How would a business like mine respond to a sources sought, especially when they’re asking for past performance. The way I’m thinking is approaching sources sought as I would a solicitation in the way where I would reach out to a particular company that specializes in the work related to the sources sought and ask them to provide me with some past performance that way I can include a potential subcontractors past performance in my response to the SSN .. Being that my company is new and I don’t intend to do the work myself anyway. I understand that I’m just basically putting my company out there as being qualified to do the work. If there is another way you know please share. Thank you.
