Bully Ray( Bubba Ray Dudley) did an interview He seems to think Rock Gave Cody a watch ,a watch that Cody knew about ,apparently there is a story Cody's Father Dusty sold a bunch of items Dusty bought previously with his earnings from wrestling to put Cody through Acting School and Wrestling training..the Rock said " without seeing this,you know exactly what this is is" ...what had happened was ,a while back Cody walked away from wrestling and acting in frustration to things not going his way after Cody's dad Dusty sacrificed so much in time and effort to provide for Cody and many wrestlers KNOW and knew what Dusty went through to provide for Cody and those wrestlers supported Cody and Rock's father was a good friend of Dusty and Rock supported Cody before Cody left...this is why Cody has had such hard matches and treated hard by other wrestlers like Brock and Rock to remind Cody " you had it all and people needed you and YOU needed YOU ,we put effort into helping you and you Walked", "Now earn your stripes and take your Bump"..that's why Rock says " don't you ever break my heart Again".

@@kickashpodcast7296 I think a star. They really screwed up with mjf. Once you get people watching then you can be a brand. Hogan is the best example. If Tony would have done what the wwf did in the 80s they would still be at a million viewers or more, maybe 1.5. You have to make your wrestlers look like superstars and show them enough so people not only like them but look forward to seeing them every week. Aew has too many people. If you like someone you might not see them for weeks or sometimes months. So why would you keep watching? If I remember correctly they had almost 1.5 million viewers and were over a million until the horrible booking ran off a huge portion of the audience. Mjf had people watching, he was "home grown" and should have been aews stone cold but they completely blew it. Tony seems to think people want to see wrestling matches, some do. 800,000 ish. The rest of us want stories and consistency. I thought they did ok the first year or so but it's horrible now.

The space between the majority of the crows and the ring really hurt the perception on TV. Crowd was into it in person.

Thought they missed an opportunity with Dominik on Smackdown! I wanted him to win the Chamber and then somehow squeeze by Seth at Mania (I know it's crazy but stay with me!). Dom gets the belt... and then imagine the cash-on from Priest! He leaves as champ. I guess that's not happening now though!

That’s the thing though mainstream wise and non wrestling fans or wrestling fans that have stopped watching don’t know who Seth or Cody is . And that’s a lot of people in those groups a hell of a lot. Rock vs Reigns is a bigger match business wise but it’s crazy how it came about. It’ll be a triplethreat or a two night event for Roman hahaha and he’ll retain 🤣🤣
