No, you can make the connections while the battery pack is inside the car. Make sure to remove the Safety Plug first.

@@toshirobirthday - many moving targets here but i'll list them here: 1) running low rolling resistance tires a must. i'm still running originally equipped bridgestone b381 which are now discontinued. do your research for something comparable 2) tire inflation crucial - honda's conservative 32 psi is way low. i run at 38.5 psi and adjust monthly or significant temps change, ~15 f 3) 100k mile increment intake manifold & egr valve removal for carbon cleaning a must 4) running top tier fuel a must - chevron, shell, texaco, mobil, & 76 in that order preference 5) ngk or denso plugs run up to 100k mileage limits 6) hch1 shine on the open highway so slip streaming, down hill coasting, & 55 mph limits a must 7) necessary timely servicing a must - engine/trans fluids & engine filters 8) a/c off when ever possible 9) mine is manual gearbox so your mileage will vary with automatics all the best

Hi, Yes you are able to charge the whole pack in one go but you need a special charger. I have created a charger especially for Yukon Hybrid that charges the whole battery pack at the same time. Contact me at [email protected]

This charger works in a 2010 Chevy Silverado?

First thing to check would be the 12V aux. battery. I suspect, it is dead. If you want to work on the hybrid battery, you will need to cycle it a few times to bring it up to a workable level. Watch my video on "How to recondition a HCH battery pack".

Hi Brown, yes there is a line under DC, which underlines the word to show that it is DC Voltage. If the voltage is static at 108 V, that means it is not charging. Did you turn the Red power switch to ON(1) position ?????

@VeniceHybridTech 3 minutes in and still nothing about working on the pack, found lots that gave me lots of info on the pack and how to work on it in under 3 minutes. Use your time wisely and watch your subs grow. Info is much more attractive than rambling

Hi Mohamed, the problem about capacitance is very real and difficult to judge. There are no easy gadgets to help. The best method is to replace the sticks. I suggest you order from China as you can get new sticks with 3 Years warranty.

No, you don't need to do any discharging for Gen III.
