Your collection is really something special Mike. Yours were the first lighting videos i found when i started the lighting adventure at the start of the year. I've got my first two 2.0 kits arriving in a couple of days (Rivendell and 1966 Batmobile) and i'm really excited to see how the whole process compares to the 1.0 kits. Those wide shots of your whole city in the dark are just gorgeous 🤩Looking forward to your thoughts on the new 2.0 kits. I assembled my first 2.0 today (the elf club house) and I really liked the very thin cables, better "strength" and the much easier connections. On the other hand I didn't find it as easy to wind up and hide excess wires due to the material. My biggest pet peeve with LMB is probably all those "fake" lego parts they distribute with their kits. If it's something custom that's needed for attachment I can accept it, but all the other fake copies of real lego is in my opinion not acceptable for such an expensive product. I don't want them mixed in with my lego collection, so I toss them and source the real deal instead :) Thanks for what you do on this channel and wish you a happy holiday with bricks under the tree :)

I know I'm late to the video, but I'm thinking of buying a light kit for this set from LightMyBricks. Does everything you need come with the Home Alone kit? Or do you have to buy some basic elements separately? This would be my first LightMyBricks kit so I'm wondering if there are any "starter kit" elements that I would also need to add to my order, such as a power adapter or a battery, etc.
@LitBricks
@LitBricks 2 ай бұрын
@@wislarstud Everything you’ll need does come in the kit. Although if you want to plug it into the wall you’ll need a usb wall plug. I would suggest this highly. It’s has a lot of lights and will kill batteries quickly. This kit in the video is also from their 1.0 line. The 2.0 kit (if it’s available) is massively different. The lights are different and are easier to install. It will still need a usb wall plug though. I can say that the 1.0 lights while more tedious will probably be more dynamic. The 2.0 stuff is great but it’s also limited in scope. I hope this helps!!
