I went and watched TONY SHERIDAN in his very first ever American show in Hollywood California back in 1982 - and got to meet him backstage - It was a great show - with all his hit songs - I told him of the great influence that HE had on the BEATLES - Especially GEORGE HARRISON - as well as myself in a way - directly and indirectly , God Bless TONY SHERIDAN - - LOVE FROM - your pal forever Joe Nania also known as "Hollywood" Joe

On the original 1961 recording of " MY BONNIE " George Harrison played the riffs in between Tony's vocal lines BUT the SOLO was all TONY SHERIDAN - Joe Nania a.k.a. Hollywood Joe

@GravityBoy72 Yes it was Sheridan who played lead on this in '61 but George played in a very similar style on Cry for a shadow at the same session so I assumed for years it was George.

Tony can play guitar! I wondered who played lead on the Tony/Beatles record. Was it George or Tony? I thought it' was a bit to fluid for George at the time.
