Robert came to my recording studio in Taos with 50 bucks he borrowed from his grandmother. We heard his flute and felt his spirit. We ended up financing his first album. I am proud of our contribution to Robert's success. May it continue. He has a powerful message for the world.

Love the Mirabal family, Robert is so inspiring and a humble man. Giving us beauty and artistry in his music. I appreciate his talent. When I first heard Mirabals music with John Tesh it was breath taking.

That PBS-televised concert was my gateway into discovering the multi-talented artist that is Robert Mirabal (not just a great musician/songwriter but also a superb storyteller). Within a few short months after my first viewing of that concert, he played a concert at my local theater. Unfortunately, due to not finding out in time before I could put in a 2-wk. notice at the job I had at the time for a time-off request, I wasn't able to purchase tickets to attend this performance, but a number of my local friends did, and they all said that it was one of the best concerts that they had ever seen -- made me wish that I'd called in sick just so that I could have bought those tickets, but oh well Tangent: Our culture is far too youth-obsessed -- we need to get back to valuing our elders like Robert touched on in this documentary

WOW, brilliant', at 5:09, learn to care for others, the way you would like to be cared for,... Luke 6 : 31, Yahusha (Jesus) Messiah said : Do to others as you would like them to do to you. But He goes on to say : “But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6 : 32 - 38)
Yeah, man. Way to go. I heard your name from LA Marzulli and here you are. Thanks for your mission and May God bless you and your family .

Noberta is our angel for honoring our son Isaiah in 2016 Mariachi Spectacular de Albuquerque. I’m in the process of having a motorcycle event to raise money for educational scholarships in Mijo’s memory. We have a successful motorcycle event in Pueblo, Colorado. I’ll post this video on my channel. Abrazos Noberta La Reina de MSA!

Why we Love Señora Noberta; kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4PFp3eYa5JmjMU Noberta Fresquez dedicates the MSA Show Case Mariachi Concert to Isaiah Vialpando at the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Isaiah shot and killed a few months after attending MSA in 2015. He was a dedicated student attending the conference and competing in the open divisions at the downtown Civic Center. Isaiah was a member of Mariachi Aguila de Cesar Chavez y Dolores Huerta Academy de Pueblo Colorado. He was a member of Mariachi Lobos de Colorado State University Pueblo. Isaiah performed throughout the city of Pueblo and different states in the USA. He was proud Vihuela Musician and enjoyed playing in Mariachi Groups. We want to thank Noberta Fresquez, Carolyn Ortega, Peter Sanchez, Ángel MartInez, Nuevo Tecalitlan, and all volunteers whom assisted in this dedication! Viva Mariachi Spectacular!

SO honored to hear Robert with my habibi oud master Rahim Alhaj at the benefit concert my friend Tom Frouge (!Globalquerque!) at the Benefit Concert for those impacted by the devastating Fires started by the U.S. Forest "Service" at the Lensic a couple weeks ago. I was in tears for most of Rahim's and Robert's bands sets. Robert's band is Kickass!

My wife Erin and I had the privilege of seeing this wonderful man and experiencing his gift at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque at the end of April. The experience was moving beyond belief, took me completely off guard, and changed me in ways I still cannot fully comprehend, much less explain. I am forever grateful!

I was in Mr. Bonnell's first violin class in Artesia. He recognized a talent I had for playing by ear and encouraged me to play advanced pieces. He was blond and very handsome and we thought they were they most beautiful couple we'd ever known! I am so happy to read about all his accomplishments which are well deserved. If there were only more music teachers like him and more support in the schools for his wisdom.

Something about being raised grandparents or having such influence from them. Also seeing the strength of a matriarch who goes against all odds to raise you & care for you. This is powerful.
