What model did you buy? My manual is about 250 pages long and there is plenty more to learn about these complex beast. There is a couple of forums that are incredibly helpful. I also have enough files to overflow a DVD that might be of help.

Any RV requires constant upkeep. These things are houses riding along the wonderful highways of the US. Living on a constant eartquake would shake anything apart. Your comment is truly useless. If you are really tring to invert and the batteries are weak or low it will not work. Check your battery voltage.

Using the emergency start button. However that function is often broken because of a faulty solenoid. An easy test is to push the button with ignition key on, and then take a measurement on the starting batteries to see if the voltage is going up. If so, and you can get shoreline or run the generator, do that to allow the onboard charger to fill the weak batteries. I would run it at least 30 minutes. If you have to actually use a jumper cable, then make sure your house batteries are up to the proper voltage first. Then with one heavy duty jumper cable connect the positive post from the house batteries to the engine batteries. Let the engine batteries charge for 30 minutes this way. Then attempt your start with that cable still in place. This takes a quality jumper cable. Not the ten dollar ones at Harbor Freight. You must use caution and safety goggles throught this procedure. Weak batteries can offgas very explosive fumes and a tiny spark will ruing your day, Always have a garden hose of fire extinguisher nearby.

The jury is still out. I am not positive it did. But since we fulltime and the thing is connected 24/7 it gives me peace of mind knowing it is in great shape now and should last the lifetime of the RV. Thanks for watching.
