这首歌在中国是被禁止的，因为它体现了中国百姓的疾苦，不符合中国政府要宣扬的价值观，所以乐队不敢把他唱出来，否则要受到封杀甚至牢狱之灾，乐队只能用伴奏形式向人们展示此时他们内心的想法。

why is the instrumental only version more heart broken than the original one? Maybe it isn’t because of the arrangement, it’s the past, current and possible future of our everyday life reminds me that this ten year old song is still very much relatable to us.

cringe take, lewis is such a good fucking singer. not technically, of course. but he can inject a tremendous amount of emotion. may is by far the worst singer. and I'm pretty sure they just don't want to depend on Ellery, since she often tours with jockstrap.
