Titus County is seriously underfunded. Industry however is unfettered. Their heavy equipment ruins the roads. Our schools and infrastructure need funding!!!

I am sorry you've suffered such an injustice in the classroom. But throwing money at this problem, and blaming Abbot isn't the cause of this horror at school. Some law and serious discipline of the student that committed this crime against you is what's needed!!! How many infractions did this student commit before he assaulted you? Parents need to parent their children regardless of the economic demographic. Could it be this student was violent because they didn't suffer consequences for their previous bad behavior?

Greg Abbott is directly responsible. He is sitting on a surplus while not investing in the future. I think the scriptures warn us to not be that kind of dolt.

I'm confused. Why did she make this about this money???? She had an opportunity to really make a sincere statement, and she was bought for political ploy!! So sad... they probably have ridiculous rules in place at the school that left her and other students in danger..where's security or a resource officer..why are they dealing with an enraged student.isnt the left who don't believe in police at schools and children are treated like criminals?? School choice isn't for private schools it's for charter schools and anyone can go to a charter school. This is horrific! It's scary for me because I have family that teaches in Texas. My only question is what does funding and school choice have to do with this situation? My heart goes out to this dedicated woman to her profession. She should sue the school system for allowing such an individual in the school . He should be in jail or juvenile facility. I feel this student may have a lengthy history. Also, there should be school police available for these types of incidents. As they are better at handling situation.

3 minutes in and I’m bawling my eyes out! It’s crazy how these children behave! I’m so sorry this happened to her! I pray God restores her sight and her family finds peace! I need her to get a huge settlement from the school district and the state! Vision is priceless but she should be compensated somehow.
