Feeling blessed to live in an era of color video! Golly, I remember watching this live with my aunt. She lived a few houses down from The Vaughans. One of my life greatest moments= meeting SRV, Tommy, Chris & Reese. Just a year before we lost Stevie. Pictures are priceless! Such talent!

I saw SRV at the arts and science auditorium in Laramie Wyoming in 85, then again at Fiddlers Green in Denver shortly shortly before he died. He is a legend

Half of these pop stars have the microphone in their mouth. SRV‘s voice is so strong, he hast to lean AWAY from the microphone.

Stevie would be clean after falling off the stage in London in 1986 i believe. This is an amazing piece of playing the guitfiddle as Albert would call it...later in this recording....Stevie would have been greater here if he wasnt so high...he realized it and his last two records he would tell you are his best records....In Step and Family Values...This dude was just about to take off...its a tragedy he had to go

Years ago this set included Rude Mood. That's one of my favorites. I sat and watched the video of Rude Mood and learned every note. It's the best version I've ever heard. Why was it taken off KZbin? I found one instance of the video on another site.

This may be sacrilege, but I love Stevies voice as much as his guitar playing. I know, I know! It drips blues, understanding of the lyrics and is so effective. Scrape me off the floor! Eh, eh!!

Can't believe I'm only just NOW seeing this! R. Stevie - a freakin' legend, for like HUGE amounts of rolling, ever accumulating decades. Words suck, come up short to put on proper worshipful display of the unique genius of 'da mensch'. First heard about him in the mid 70s from Trouser Press, a clueless teenager, pulled in by beautiful constructed vacuous but grippingly enticing ad copy filled with superlatives. Of course, the first LP arrived and I was confused...but, hey, it was 1976, I was 14! It was, "Phonography". I got w/ the program a few short yrs later because....R. Stevie Moore is COMING FOR YOU. So be ready. LEGEND. Pure punk ethos awash with trippy Beatley melodies...wait, I gotta stop. There's no words for his genius output. JUST let it wash over yr music lovin' soul. Start. Now.

This really gave me a different perspective on Stevie. It was hard to watch him trying to walk when he was in great pain. Still, though, what an absolute guy he is. Some of my most favorite songs were written by him

This performance by Stevie is just so very, INTENSELY(!!!!!) mellow as to melt this old man's heart! There is no musicianship today that can come close to comparison. I saw/listened to a tribute to Stevie that included Eric Clapton and others. They didn't come close to Stevie, none of them! RIviera Paradise, Lenny, and his rendition of Little Wing are must hear for everybody out there!! They are for me.
