I haven't played 2k since 2k23 when it was L1 and R1 to outlet tobthe closest player, it doesn't do that anymore on 2k25. Are there no outlet to the closest guy to the basket anymore or do i have just select the icon?

Thats exactly why i went 96 close and 91 lay. They dont always give u that atanding dunk under the basket so thats why i went high lay and high close. better safe than sorry. plus thay high close helps more cheesy post lays go in.

Great video, brother. I really think it's because the ball is being left in the hand that the defender is sitting on; they are always going to have a good chance at blitz steals. Realistically, the ball handlers should cross away from the defender.

Rise up is about the combination of height and badge. My Center is 6’10. 90 standing dunk. 85 vertical with Gold Rise Up. PF is 6’8, 95 standing dunk, 88 vertical and HOF Rise Up. PF does more layups under the rim against guards and forwards than dunks. Center goes up and dunks on everyone including 7’3 center and posterizes them. So my conclusion is that height matters a lot. Seems like rise up triggers far more if you have standing dunk contact dunk.

Imo gold is better than HOF, I play rec and I went from gold to HOF fairly easy and i struggled to get from HOF to legend. I have smaller build that uses silver and I get a great amount of chasedowns. I’m good at triggering them but HOF to legend is hard because they seem harder to get. Gold>HOF

I get snatch blocks here and there with my 6’7 sf 86 block silver high flying denier but I also plus 1 badged my paint patroller. I might make a second version of that same build but this time allocating more towards shooting, I dumped 96 into drive dunk for nada

The only thing I would be curious to see is you only tested paint patroller against a post badge that excels from creating space to get off a shot for a post player. Post players are strong in general this year. So it’s not really that much you can do about them. I’d like to see what it does on dunking badges that are very popular in the meta right now. Like how does it Hall of Fame in legend differ for big men who use rise up and little men who use posterizer badge. Great video by the way even with the sample size, it helped give me an idea of how I should be orienting my cap boosters

Oh my god this is the most useful video I’ve ever seen in the 2K community. I don’t have time to grind up the build so they’re mad expensive and with cap breakers this year I don’t have the luxury of investing on a shitty legend badge. So thank you legit for this vid saving us 2k degens money. Also, I’ve seen people being like oh maybe you timed it wrong but I preferred an average user using the badge as the test case, not some 2K labs robot that gets perfect timing every time. It’s like you give real world 2K labs testing. Great methodology man! Love this video only thing is speed helps you keep up with them alot more, I have a 80 speed 90 agility guy with HOF OBM was getting blown by way to much noticed I couldn't get away with the slow speed I had, remade the build with 88 speed 85 agility now I'm able to stay in front and active the badge more

I have 73 steal with just silver and i get them consistently in good position.
