Alternatively, you could: 1 . Push a square-ended screw through the empty bobbin. 2 . Push the screw into an multi-speed electric drill. 3 . Turn the electric drill down to the slowest setting. 4 . Thread the thread through the bobbin (as shown above.) 5 . Thread a thin popsicle (lollipop) stick - or a thin screwdriver - through the large bobbin (so you can support the large bobbin firmly). 7 . Switch on the electric drill. 8 . Away you go. Easier with two/three people.

Unfortunately, my machine isn't electric. It's got an handle to turn the wheel. And I ain't got 3 hands/arms.
