man no one understands now a days how much harder it was to do tricks back then on those monster frames LMFAO freaking 15-16" rear triangle wtf lol. These new style frames was riding a bsd freedom, and tried all the od forks the diff angle ones, and man the frames, the forks, the steams all the geometry is so ungodly diff , and so easy to nail tricks now. I ride mtbs now but BMX will always be my first true love 25 years in these extreme sports now.

Started riding in 91, rode for 21yrs. Best time of my life but in a lot of pain now for it, but damn dont regret a thing.

Finally got to watch this again carefully. I remember Bibi, was one of my favorite riders. And saw him do a “Barspin-Abubaca-barspin on a sub-box. I actually thought no one else did that. Happy to be part of a trick that a few can do! 🤍

@6:40 Brian Terada - So Badass. Last time I tried that I took it pretty good lol. It was 03’ maybe ‘04 at a comp at Mission Skatepark in FL. Chad Degroot owned it. What an amazing park. Soo fun. Small but fun box rhythm , 2 nice hips - you just couldn’t go too crazy because the ceiling lol. Mini ramp with spine which was a bit tighter but they got the transition perfect. The best part of the park was this - quarter to street spine to wall ride and back. It was ridiculously fun. We used to drive like 3 hours to Mission and ride that last section I mentioned basically the whole session. Damn I Loved that park

Damn I had my share of props vhs and dvds but that intro clip brought me back to sitting on my couch watching props on fueltv on the big add flat screen tv.. but not like the ones we have today it was like 3 feet wide behind the screen and like 4ft tall with a third of the size being the speakers at the bottom

Growing up in this era of Props videos was amazing but damn props used some of the WORST music for video parts back then. My ALL TIME favorite bmx video is Schwinn American Muscle. That was the video the opened the door for BMX into my life.

This videos are so nostalgic! Road Fools 1-5, Criminal Mischief and Base Brooklyn use to be my favorite videos from back in the day. Man I missing riding with the crew. Those were the good days for sure!
