You got me bro I have been thinking of this … my last trip was frogs now I think I’m gonna do a bluegill catch and cook with street tacos .🌮 🔥 🤤 been fishing all my life never knew they could be some good eats .!! 😅 well my grandfather was always after salmon and when I would get bored i would start landing these guys and now I wanna try them .!! I fish at dis reis which is only like a mile away. A couple years ago a car full of teenagers just kept going up and off the Levy into the water they died. During the day it’s eerie now I could just imagine at night time.

I've noticed from other angler's videos fishing for Mackerel at Santa Cruz Wharf seems to have it's best season to be August, September and October? Also you're the only video out of all I watched where darkness is a huge factor. Have you found this to be true?

We live near the estuary on the Oregon coast. At low tide you can pump all the sandshrimp you want. I use them for bait but I just might give it a try
