Hello, please could you advise me on how to be a funeral arranger? Also, If someone has not passed GCSE science but has passed GCSE maths and English, can you still train to be an embalmer?

This is totally the wrong view of politics and no wonder why this country has gone down the tubes. Politics is statecraft and just like any other craft, it is perfected by experience. The more time you spend doing it, the more you will learn. Traditional aristocracies and monarchs were much matter; they spent their entire life learning from the mistakes from their predecessors, perfecting their knowledge, their skills and art. If ordinary people want to get involved, they should, but only as a check and balance to the aristocracy. The landed gentry should retain the upper hand, as they have the time to devote themselves to this subject from a much earlier age and expend more time learning about it. Plato, in my view, is right: politics is largely a matter of expertise and not what placates the public.

The trouble is that any detailed feedback can be construed as unfair or prejudiced against the candidate, so employers will give as little detail as possible. I agree it's very poor form and very common behaviour - but just because it's common doesn't mean it's acceptable.
