Does anybody know the neurological symdrome affecting those challenged humans in charge of assembling the videos? Does anybody know where the virus of cropping everything, zooming in and showing portion of musicians and their instrument started? These disgraced minus habens are truly convinced that people who come to listen to giants as Clayton and Pizzarelli are interested in their "filiming" skills. These retards would never understand that one thing is to shoot an advert, a movie, a wedding or whatever the fuck; quite another a concert, during which I am interested in seeing as much as I can of the musician performing his task. I do not give a shit about "special effects" or "filming skills". These operators stays to musicians as waiters stay to the chef in a top restaurant. Thing is that in the last twenty years, photographers of sort have taken an obsession with jazz to the point (I was there during the fight between organizers and musicians) to impose - in one of the most renowned European Jazz Festivals, a particular type of lights which rendered the pictures "better" but at the same time where bothering the musicians. I have never nurtured any particular benevolence towards these funny guys and girls all with pictoresque hats, hanging around at stages as if each of them were a new Helmut Newton.

I can hear sooooo many influences, however I am partial to Jimmy Ponder. His chord soloing is so pianistic, Wes is there too. His Rhythm Section is swinging [KUDOS] which allows Graham to 'pick up the pieces'. He is a phenom!!!!

How can Jeff's high-hat sound like it's dragging, but also sound like it's right on time?! A master of swing.

I wish the bass wasn't so tubby sounding. I can barely make out what John is playing. I have heard John live before and he seems to like a microphone instead of a pickup. He sounded muffled then too.
