I have rats in my ceiling that sound like they are causing lots of damage but when I called rentokill they said they do not investigate noises alone. So I have to basically wait until they chew through wiring and cause a house fire or chew through the ceiling and land on me as I sleep. I can't live like this.

Yes, they can. I have one of those traps where they fall into a 5 gallon bucket. I've had them jump out when I have removed the top. They are incredible leapers, at least here in the states...

You are wrong sir. I am a pest control-man and I specialize in small rodents, if anything it is under exaggerated. Mice can climb walls like Spider-Man, especially brick.

Yes they can, because of their size and weight they hit the ground with the same force jumping from 1 foot or 12 feet

In the darkness under an office building, a mouse scampers into an air duct and enters the building through a vent. She walks behind some computer equipment and chews on some wires. Then she squeezes under a door and enters an office. She climbs the computer table and helps herself to some biscuits. Yum! I'm seeing this 9 years later and I'm about to have a seizure! Omg! a pencil..We live in S. Fla. on a canal. I have 2 quaker parrots that stay in the patio out back in the daytime. I have put out the huge glue traps, the medium snap traps, the small snap traps to no avail. I found 4 mice inside my bird cage the other day and and now the cage is in the garage pile. The birds were just standing there watching them eat their food. Ewww! I am so flustered at this point I don't know what else to do. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVISE..PLEASEEEEEE. I know they are after the birds food so I try to keep it from falling and the new cage cleaned every day but birds are messy. These mice are so smart! They've gotten out of the glue traps..They've tripped all the traps then eat the peanut butter. I swear they sit in the palm trees laughing at us.. If anyone can give me any advice at all I would be so appreciative. Thank you!

Try out that live traps that are one way that they can't escape from... They're the only traps I've had success with, everything else they just steal the food right from

Never use glue traps, they are barbaric. They have been banned under European law since 1979. Shame the US is so far behind.

Find the gaps and cracks and fill them with expanding foam. If there is too much, just wait 1 or 2 days for it to cure and then you can trim it. Just make sure you do as many spots as possible in one go, because the foam will harden inside the applicator eventually making it unusable.

It's not really fido or Coe approved yet you don't fume a garden the soil before planting yes other methods are better you fume your crop after harvest in storage to eradicate any chance of bugs forming but must maintain what ever do you need a fumigator
