I don't think your "ugly truth" is much of a revelation. Most people know exactly what you're saying -- that it's on them. Certainly the trainers and horse owners I follow. So you must deal with a lot of clueless people. Not a criticism of you, but it feels like you just came out from under a rock or something.

Thanks for sharing your perspective! I hear that for some, the message of personal responsibility may feel obvious or like common knowledge. However, in my experience working with riders at various levels, I’ve found that while many people intellectually understand it’s “on them,” actually internalizing and acting on that truth is a different story. That’s where my work goes deeper-helping riders connect knowledge with practice, especially in high-stakes moments. It may seem like “everyone” already knows this, but I frequently encounter experienced riders who still struggle to implement these principles when the pressure is on. That’s the gap I aim to fill, which goes beyond the surface and helps clients create lasting change.

Yep, this video is all about the rider's ego-driven dream for peak performance. But what price do the horses pay by aggressive training and competing, often on a full time basis with little time to rest and relax -- and heal from the pressures? This video shows how horses perceive and experience the world through their highly complex sensory systems. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aabPnH9-pq2Nack

The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. This is the reason why deception and violence are everywhere. This is the reason why liers and murderers feel good while righteous persons are persecuted. This is the reason why Hitler got the power, but Christ was executed as "blasphemer" and "rioter" by denunciation of clergy. That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our loved ones again! :-)

Thanks for all these videos! I know it was 3 years ago but seems like all of these styles are still out there. I’m wondering if you’ve found many jeans with 7 belt loops as opposed to the “normal” 5? I really need the extra help keeping my pants up! This curvy booty ain’t like it used to be ❤

My horse does the head lifting and tilting But i was riding him and wasnt scratching him tho Wonder why he did that and if i should be worried. But one thing I know that might make sense is that he has his favorite scratching spot on this back. So maybe it was the saddle pad??

I know this is an old video but I agree on the Kimes jeans, most of their styles are just not athletic-body-type-friendly. The style that does fit like a glove (as a girl with bigger thighs) are the Olivia’s, I would try them out they’re so cute and fit really good.
@resilientreiner6 ай бұрын
None of the stores near me carry that style, but now I'll keep my out for them to try them on! The Jennifer style (high rise+flare) I've found does fit better than the mid-rise+bootcut Betty jeans.

Sometimes I wish my legs had that filling and in turn have a fuller butt, and then i wonder if it would slow me down in racing to have heavier legs, and not have a thigh gap anymore. damn these society expectations making me constantly question my body.

I wanted to get kimes ranch jeans. I’m 5’6 and usually size 14. So you said 10/34. Would you think that size would fit me?
@resilientreiner Жыл бұрын
The biggest limiting factor is the thigh size not the waist. They aren't very stretchy jeans. They do "give" and soften up a little throughout the day, but nothing extreme. Bodies are so different in terms of how we're shaped that it's hard to say without trying them on. As my weight has fluctuated, I've had multiple sizes. So I'd start with whatever size you typically purchase, and go from there.

I had a light bulb moment while I was listening to your podcast. Which, by the way, I loved but my light bulb moment was. I didn't think that I rode well enough to look good while I was writing. And that was really AI opener for me. Because it went back to that well. If I'm not perfect at writing and I'm not doing well. Why should I look good wow, thank you so much for your podcast. I've gotten so much out of it. Thank you.

@Itslex56 Жыл бұрын
I know this is an old video but I used to LOVE Ranch Dress’N I was obsessed with their jeans until they jacked up the prices for the cheap quality they are now. Yes they’re stretchy but they’re thin. They’re not a real denim. One of my first few pairs that I LOVED ended up ripping in the crotch 😭 they were even loose on me!!! It bums me out how much they value quantity over quality now
@resilientreiner Жыл бұрын
I've noticed that, too! I love the stretchy-ness, and in the summer I appreciate the lightweight fabric. But yes, they've gotten thinner, and I have noticed distortion in the fabric (wavy, stretched out), when I take them off (and not from it being too small!). I haven't purchased more because I'm hesitant to buy jeans that are a subscription model (only last a year or so). The new trouser style are a thicker fabric than the bootcut, but I've only worn them twice so far. It's pretty frustrating, because I want to find one pair of jeans and never go shopping again, lol. Haven't found them yet.

Is it heavy? How easy is it to get knocked over if i out a large one in a field with say 10 yearlings? I would get a couple of course
@resilientreiner Жыл бұрын
The big one is quite heavy, but you'll notice the horses (once they acclimate to these feeders) actually regularly knock them over. They'll knock them over and then tip them back up. Knock them over and tip them back up. Our horses love doing that. They're very sturdy however so they can take the abuse.
