Sorry I missed this question. It would have been a Magoo of some description, with flash in the tail. Can't recall if it was black or olive as we were switching between the two. Definitely needed flash that day though, as Jo only started to hook up after we switched her over to a fly with more flash.

Good to see how this water once great water. Like many in Tasmania are being destroyed by poor fisheries management

Great video mate! I often fish the lakes but I love river and stream fly fishing. What are some nice creeks to check out in the highlands?

It's tough up there. I'm lucky to have access to this river through a landowner that I know. Try to explore access to the Shannon River and to the Ouse River. Not much else on offer up there.

Had to laugh, sorry. The number of times I've stood on my fly line myself is ludicrous. Not sure the music adds anything though, or at least it needs to be quieter for my taste. Cheers for the vid.
