When using SCORM content in a subsection, is there a way to make the prerequisite the completion of the entire SCORM content? Inside the SCORM file there are blocks (created with Rise) that have prerequisites in order to 'complete' the entire SCORM file. Is EdX able to understand that a user has completed all of the prerequisites inside a SCORM file before unlocking the prerequisite in EdX? Or will the prerequisite in EdX unlock after just accessing the beginning of the SCORM file?

DO NOT EVER INSTALL TUTOR WITH SUDO!!!! This is exactly the reason why we are going through the hassle of symlinking the tutor binary. Please watch again from 5:48.

why don't you have presenters who speak clear English? it is so annoying to get past the accent to understand what they are saying
@JimboWatusi3 ай бұрын
This is difficult to follow as each woman has a very distinct accent. As soon as I've mentally adjusted to the idiosyncrasies of one speech pattern, the speaker rotates. A single consistent voice would be easier to assimilate. Also, sound is quite muddled as @kamelberbiche8028 already mentioned.

Great talk! For some reason I did not see / find it earlier, but one thing I wanted to point out: Central sharing is one option, but Piral also supports (and encourages) distributed sharing. So it is possible to avoid sharing dependencies that are either unknown or not really used in the app shell / primary layout itself. Just leave it to the micro frontends (=> pilets).

Very poorly made video. The presenter is reading off a teleprompter robotically and the commands are not visible. The terminal could have been magnified. This video is an example of how a step by step tutorial must not be created. Such a poor production, it is cringey. Open edX is degrading visibly.

When Natalia is asked if she has any idea, I smiled 🙂 It seems to me that Natalia is full of ideas and the only thing she lacks is a thousand hands or people, with expertise, who can realize all her ideas! I am sure for the open edx community Natalia is a treasure, she is full of ideas, creativity and suggestions, energy, and how to do great things! Raccoon Gang is very lucky to have Natalia and I really hope that here in the community, there will be people who can share her inspiration and desire to make projects better than anyone else, cooler than anyone else! Don't stop! 🤩

Anastasia, could you share more about the challenges you faced during the transition from paperwork to computer-based online assessments for school graduates in Ukraine?
@IrcaGav Жыл бұрын
I was part of this project. The hardest part was getting all the teachers together as they are mostly busy. and everyone has a different teaching style. So the second problem is to create a unified style of teaching and lesson presentation. There was a team of several teachers - who created the content and who checked it afterwards. There were several iterations of revision. The challenges were also in the amount of material. From 5th through 11th grade in all subjects. It was necessary to get all the lessons onto the platform in a fairly short period of time. The work was done day and night. Why do you ask? Do you have a need for a similar experience?
@AnaA-y5y Жыл бұрын
Thank you for this question. The challenges are: Government regulations, which were adjusted during the project delivery; Changes in the requirements; All team development team and client team were in Ukraine; Electricity cut and low internet connection; Huge load of concurrent users; Tight deadlines etc.
