Thank you! The green paint info is in the linked article - yes! Most of my walls are white at the moment as we are mid renovation and have yet to make alot of those final color choices yet but I will post that as it happens!

Technically you could, but that’s not what I was going for with this reno, I really am aiming to install good quality materials and put a lot of attention to the fine details (but I do love a good spray paint DIY and I’ve done a few on decor for easy updates! Its just not something I’d so on a fixture)

I believe one factor that contributed to spread of, so called, millennial grey is the fact that we really didn’t have knowledge about home decor. Home decor is quite new, kinda luxorious thing non existing back then when you used to have what you COULD ACQUIRE rather that what you desire.

Interesting perspective! I would say that interior design has been around for centuries, but on a personal level if someone hadn’t considered it for themselves until a certain point than it definitely didn’t exist for them!

This is what I've been telling my husband that I want. Its came out beautiful ! Your husband is amazingly talented. You both are. The savings on installation by doing it yourselves , and it came out perfect. You should be proud !

Wasn’t too sure about the stone, but it definitely changed the esthetic of the kitchen in a beautiful way; and at the end when you said to seal it so it can be cleaned made sense. And for those who say it would be tough to clean, I feel the same about real marble and granite- the maintenance is the same.

@@Madoc928 yes refinishing wood floors is a thing! In our last place we sanded and refinished the floors. But in this house considering the square footage of the whole main floor, its more economical to replace it all

I don't know who this person is but she's dead wrong if she thinks that bathroom is ugly. It looks like one of the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen. I would kill for my house to look that good. If they have a lot of different projects to do then maybe they should skip to something more important, because it already looks perfect the way it is.

@@BlakeH..888_ every room is important ❤️ just removing the ugly and cheap fixtures in favor of higher quality ones that are more timeless. The actual bones, cabinets and plumbing will remain untouched, and everything else gets a nice facelift with character
