Which is the book that you recommend where I can decode the language of the Bardo and apply it to everyday life and come to grips with it?

Im just curious and If I may ask a question please. Before the age of 6 I experienced 1-unproven death(age 3 was in a blazing family house fire and was pulled out by unknown man observing and I had no burns or any medical condition. Then at the age 5 I jumped into a raging ditch of water, from all the excessive rain, where I couldn't swim very well and drowned, where I was retrieved by my uncle doing immediate CPR which I gained conscious! My question is because I'm not afraid of dying and embrace it because of my past dying as a child, is the process still the same? Is it possible upon dying as a child my soul was swapped out to a higher benevolent soul purpose to be here now? I say this because there have been a time meeting a spiritual psychic when I walked past her booth,at a Halloween festival, her stare in my eyes to which later I came back to her booth for unknown cause, she stated when I looked at her earlier that night passing by her booth the glaze in my eyes but mostly my energy she felt was unlike any other she has ever experienced or felt. She did a reading but wouldn't reveal what she saw due to it being a fest and drinking, so she stated that I needed to see her a couple days later with a message and things needed done, she felt like a guide to me! When I arrived at the location to meet the older lady, the building of the address she gave me has been abandoned for decades, as an old man across the street made in a comment as we, a friend went with me,looked glazed in our eyes and have always wondered what she was given in a message but more who the hell am I or what caught a free ride under radar?

The Tibetan view of the afterlife sounds terrifying for people like me who have never prepared. So is it like Hades for the uninitiated but paradise for the lucky students?
@samfawlia
@samfawlia 8 ай бұрын
some people who have never prepared are overcome with peace at the end of their lives, the situatuon of impending death reaveals something to them. a lot of positive near death experiences occur after sudden, unexpected 'deaths' i think this is because there wasnt much time for fear to kick in. definitely preapre for death if you can, but if you go with the flow you shouldn't have much to worry about. also, in tibetan bon religion or tibetan buddhism, people believe in reincarnation, not an eternal afterlife. the bardo, like Andrew described, functions like a dream between lives. the karmic traces from dreams affect our day and vice versa, but if we go to sleep relaxed, unafraid and relatively calm, it's unlikely we will have bad dreams and usually they lead to the start of a good day. my bad for the essay, i got carried away.

You ask what continues through deep dreamless sleep? The difference between sleep and death is Breath. So the question is begged then, can consciousness continue after breath leaves?

Thank you for this wisdom,, I'm very interested in embodied listening in relationship to sensations in my body. Is there a difference in your experience, between "listening to your body" and "feeling your body" You say ( quote;) "Learn to overcome habitual patterns and blockages in the body by listening to the body itself." I embody each one indiviually and yet can be both present
