Hi, i had bus and it took me 5 min to reach to airport building from plane, then + ~7 min walk to security which I passed within couple of minutes. Of course all depends on the gate you will fly after. But I believe if they sell short connections it means it’s possible.

Quite enough, airport is easy to navigate and security formalities are quick. But anyway try to get your first flight seat in a front cabin to leave the plane among first. Because you never know how far your new boarding gate will be, airport is big.

Each passenger needs to go through security, even if transit, in Doha its very fast.

Oh yes, it’s more than enough. Even if the plane is late you need not more than 40-50 min to reach the gate for the next flight. Doha is stress free transit airport.

Hi, upgrade for a fee is possible starting 72 hours before the departure time via website or call center, also you can do it at check-in desk but not later than 90 min before the flight.

Shivansh Jha hi! Yes, most of the airlines now charge for the seat in advance, but when check-in opens in 24 hours before the flight you can choose any seat free of charge. From my experience there will be aisle or window seats available during check-in even if its not avaiilable now. And of course you can ask at check-in counter, just smile and ask, usually they will give you the desired seat is available.

Arienne, if you transit in Hamad there is no immigration, just a security control between connecting flights.

Hello. Yes, security is compulsory even when you transit, but it’s easy and my experience in Doha is always within 1-2 minutes.

Hi Zohair, Concourse C in DOH is the main and longest one, having also bus gates, so depends on where you’ll disembark upon arrival. But 2 hours should be pretty much enough, don’t worry! Are you sure it’s C23? I’m not sure this number exists there.

ItsBig5ive, maybe there are different options (as I remember only detectors are there) but for me last couple of times it was a normal metal detector and no queues, passed all within 1 minute.

Cynthia, dont be stressed. Airport is very spacious and never feels crowded, I did transit few times there and there were no queues ever. All you will need is to pass through security check which never took for me more than 3-5 min. Last trip was even less. Just fingers crossed for your first origin flight on-time departure. What route you'll be travelling?

We're flying from Chicago to India (Kolkata). I spoke to a fellow traveler from Kolkata who took the exact same flight this August and he said he had only 40 minutes to transfer but he only needed 20 minutes.

I was traveling from Moscow to Bangkok, disembarkment from the plane (B777-300) took about 15 minutes, then bus ride to terminal for about 10 minutes. Dont worry, 1,5 hours is perfect for Doha. Qatar Airways even selling 45 min connections. If your first plane will be on time, then you dont have to worry, average real connecting time at DOH airport is about 30 minutes.

Hello Sam! For transit in Doha you don’t need anything, no pre entry forms. It just depends on your destination. For example if you travel to Thailand via Doha, then you should follow Thailand entry rules, currently Thailand cancelled all restrictions, meaning no PCR or vaccine needed. Therefore you can easily transit in Doha too. But if your destination requires additional restrictions, they can possibly check that in DOH airport at the boarding. Doha airport is very stress free and easy to transit. Cheers

@@Flyskyhigh_G thank you also I'm not sure it says on Qatar website you need a PCR test just for entry on to the plane . Not sure of that's just old information which they have not taken down yet. Did you have to have a test just to travel on Qatar airways ? Thanks

True, as if you otherwise did not trust the competent pilot. We only clap when we had encountered some mec/tec problems while in the air & the pilot had done emergency landing safely.🙂
