I stumbled across your channel, looking for updates on roads after Helene. It sounds like you need a mike and good editing software, but other than that. Great channel and good content. Get a tripod or wear something that will hold your camera, and maybe a second camera to show a different angle. Don't use my channel as an example. Most of my videos are like yours, just down and dirty.

My heart goes out to y’all. I live in CA., and the wildfires here have devastated so much of what I love, the outdoors. I visited NC and VA 2 years ago and fell in love. Stay safe. You will get through this.

Glad to hear from you John I did very next day this is like nothing I have never seen before.so many people hurting and in need we were lucky it destroyed my moms home in avery but I must say we have some of the best people in little switzerland people helping people it was the locals who got the roads open up

I'm in agreement with you about the ar. They are great for what they are, but the tanker is just amazing. It looks very cool and it handles the 308 just like a champ. I'm just wondering about it's longevity. I hope it's as tough as it looks and mine is around for a long, long time.

I recently picked up a Colt competition myself… I have plenty of Springfields and Kimbers and honestly there is something special about the Colt. I’d pick it over the others.

It's that legendary name. So much history runs deep in colt, from the colt dragoon, to the peace maker, to the python , to the brain child of John mosses brown the 1911. I spent so much time with my grandfather shooting his colt single action army in the weekends. I know they aren't the best guns on the market, but every time I see one I think of him. Sorry for writing a book..

I have the Tisas Stingray Carry .45 and it is beautifully finished and not a mill mark on it. Tisas is inexpensive, which I can appreciate, but it is not a cheap gun. It is all forged frame and slide will all machined parts. No MIM in it at all except for the operating spring tube. A fine gun, and please don't say "for the price". It is just a fine fun.

@cliftonwhittaker260 sorry bud.I talked the way I talked.I am what I am, but as far as this gun goes the price point i would put it up against any mass produced,1911 it has some top in features. But there is a lot of channels that hate on this firearm, without even giving a chance that is sad.

Okay, guys, first and foremost, this gun did an amazing job under normal use. It will never break. I put an astronomical amount of rounds through it, just to see if I could break it. I ran it so hot. You cannot touch the barrel and thousands of rounds of magnums loads through it, to say the least, this gun paid for itself.and thank you guys for all of the views and comments.

This isn't uncommon on Heritages, I had it happen with a ranch hand that had less than 1,000 rounds through it. Just google "Heritage rough rider loose barrel". If its still under warranty they will probably fix it.

You might be able to unthread the barrel out of the frame and loctite it back in place. Did this with my 2 Herbert Schmidt revolvers (very similar to the Heritage).

@FinalLugiaGuardian no, the frame is completely damaged. That was a astronomical number of rounds. No average person will ever put that many of rounds through a gun

@@thor1911. But there are Glocks that have had over 200,000 rounds put through them and had the extractor and recoil spring replaced twice but the frame kept on going. If Glock can service their guns frame and keep the gun running for an additional $150,000 rounds why can't Heritage?

@FinalLugiaGuardian mainly because of the structural composition of the zinc pot metal frames once they're done they're done unless you're lucky enough to have a steel framed heritage.Your life's not worth it risk it on a hundred dollar gun once it starts degrading.Have you ever seen a zinc penny degrade

@@thor1911. I thought the Heritage revolvers were made out of 4140 Steel. I know the Ruger Wranglers are made out of a zinc and aluminum alloy though.

@FinalLugiaGuardian most are a zinc frame steal barrel. I have one that is a steel frame before they got bought by taurus and i'm not too sure if they still make steel frames if you see one, you will know it. The finish is amazing on it

Heritage revolvers are not safe after heavy usage, I’ve had so much better luck with my Ruger Super Wrangler, I try not to shoot too many magnums out of my Heritage revolvers.

Ya the super wranglers aren’t made out of pot metal and cost 3 times as much. Rough riders are more than safe enough. Your average shooter will never shoot anywhere near the amount of ammo it would take to kill these.

@@lordserpentine8246 I paid $250 at Brownells in Iowa over a year ago, the Super Wranglers are worth more than 3 times the Heritage in quality etc..also the Heritage guns that come with 2 cylinders are about $100 less than the Super Wranglers
