Brigantine's rating is far too high. Cool course, but the conditions range from mediocre to bad. Harbor Pines should be top 3 IMO, some of the best conditions in the area, nice layout, and a challenging test of golf. Vineyard Golf should be higher as well, the greens are excellent there, cool layout, and one of the few public courses in the area with zero houses on it. Otherwise a solid list!

Back in the day, when it was semi private, Old Orchard was a beautiful course. It's very sad to see what these owners have allowed it to become.

This list is way off. If the list is for public courses that are considered to be in the Minneapolis market, then here's a better list: 1. Troy Burne (it's actually in Wisconsin but it is part of the Twin Cities golf scene) 2. Rush Creek 3. The Wilds 4. Mystic Meadows 5. The Legends

Aurora Muni courses are better. Saddle Rock, Murphy Creek and Meadow Hills are nice tracks.

Excellent DENVER list. Yes, lots of great courses in the state but for public courses in and around the city, this list is solid.

as a local south jerseyan, your top 3 courses are basically in my back yard lol. but, i think a good one that is missing from this list is blue heron pines which is just down the street from my house. shore gate has gone down slightly in the last 5 years or so but its still a great track. town & country is a great little hidden gem. anyone who lives in south jersey or new jersey for that matter should play it at least once in their life time!

That big sand pit in front of #3 at Avalon used to have a huge bush in it that they removed this past Fall. Decent course but conditions are meh sometimes. Much rather drive to cape may natty.

Awesome list, just a shame that Ballamor is going private. Shoregate is no joke, long and the fairways have so much undulation. Cape May National is also another great public course in CMC

You should consider updating this list after visiting Colorado. Check out Common Grounds golf course, it was designed by Tom Doak. Also Bear Dance and Rain Dance National

Oh my. I couldn’t even understand the pronunciation of a few of the courses. Sorry buddy. Pull this review. Victoria -played it last year - is one of America’s worst. Bob does sports is worth watching to understand what I am talking about. As for the other course - Trump is amazing. And what is the name of the first and last course you mentioned?? Better than Trump National. And I why did you hate Los Verdes? The poor man’s pebble Beach?

I played this course many times. I think it is worth a look. I think it is interesting, a few tight holes and not overly long. My brother lived in Lehigh Valley area and I lived in Southeast PA so we would meet here often , 1/2 way.
