RE Costco: Bought a functional trainer for 500 at store when Sams had it for 900, 2 weeks later reduced to 250 so got the difference back. Last week needed an AC. Costco had it on for 300 delivered when closest other was 450 pickup.

I just noticed something in Stormfront i really wanted to share. I think that Harry’s dad was killed by Lara Raith. I was listening to the audiobook the other day and near the end Harry described what he saw when he found his fathers body. “He sat there cold smiling, maybe he was dreaming about my mother when he died. But something occurred to me you know who else smiles as they’re dying victims of the white court. I know i know might be a harmless description but ya know its Jim so would it not be the most painful think for harry to have to marry his dads killer. It would also make for a very good reason for harry to call of the wedding. So whata y’all think am i crazy? 🥶 Edit:typo

So WoJ from an interview of Jim telling the origin story of why he began writing Codex. He says that the empire has been a thing for about 1000 years, but Alerans have been on the world for 2000 and the first several centuries they went kinda wild death cult survivalist to survive being dumped on a hostile plant surrounds by other Aliens also trapped there. Another point there are mentions of other first lords and sometimes they call them "the original Gaius XYZ" which implies that there is more than one Gaius with the same name. I'm not sure if it was stated in an interview or not but I think the tradition was when a Gaius family didn't have heirs they would pass the crown to a relative and then start the line over again at Gaius Primus. The big issue presented in FoC is that not only does Gaius not have an heir, but no other brothers or cousins to claim the throne when he dies.

It's a jacked up version of full moon. It's known that in Dresden's world, governments, both local and national, have knowledge of the existence of the supernatural world. They just have not much interaction with it. In the book full moon, the FBI agents attempted to get an in with the supernatural world. Instead, they wound up getting addicted to the supernatural equivalent of wearable drugs in the form of the wolf belts. When that eye was fired off into the sky, it probably knocked out a satellite or 2. That meant there will be other spy satellites from the US and other nations turning their attention to that location immediately. So there are probably recordings of what happened in Chicago during that battle. However, the governments who know and have those recordings are like WTF. Attempting a cover up while simultaneously trying to figure out what is actually going on in the supernatural world.
