Wonderful video. Hard to imagine that one day, too far off, all of those trains will be history, even the new ones. From 1988 onwards for the next 31 years, I worked trains in and out of Waterloo from Bournemouth & Salisbury depots, guard & driver. Soooooooo many changes. Did you film this from the flats?

Great video - Reading was my home station back in the late '70s and early '80s, always had such a great selection of locos back then but I must confess a liking to 'Hoover' thundering through on a non-stop service.

Thanks Brian, my first at Euston since 1993 , I certainly wouldn't have ever considered coming back if I wasn't for the diversion. We're have all the 86s and 87s gone I was expecting 😂😂

@SamuelIles2015 This was filmed in the block of flats overlooking Waterloo Station. A friend lives in one of the flats so I occasionally take advantage of the view.

@leeroberts1192 there are still a couple of i58s and 159s in old livery . All 444s and 450s now in the white drab livery .only these few 458s worth videoing these days and the 455s before they go
