Ik my kid just bought the 1st pair she liked plus they wanted the mtx terminators in the Intimidator if that makes sense but I wasn't arguing. We in middle of installing now but I'm second guessing her choice now after seeing certain videos. Any idea on what's better I've seen some with an extra battery hooked to em in trunk but we were gonna hook to car battery. I know absolutely nothing about this stuff her dad having a friend hook it up yet I still want other opinions if possible.

@ Get the Skar sdr 10” or 12” single subwoofer they go for around $180 online. I promise you won’t regret it cause thats what I have rn in my car, plus they’re affordable, have free returns, and they slap much more bass than the mtx termin. Make sure to get the appropriate amp tho. Connect to car battery is totally fine just make sure engine is running while using subwoofer.

@@Funnychannel-22-d9e ya on ebay she paid $138 I believe it came with the Amp but a few comments I've seen said the Amp that comes with it sucks to buy a different one. Thanks for your answer/ opinion.

@@shady08pc12 sure np, it’s all good. If she already ordered it then no need to regret it. The mtx’s are still a great starter. It was my first starter but i outgrew them very quickly. Hopefully the amp is good, I’m not much of an expert on amps but they can be very pricey. Like I said Skar has pretty affordable options. All the best though.

@@Funnychannel-22-d9e ya the Amp same brand came with. I've just saw a few comments elsewhere say the Amp is too weak 4 the speakers. She don't care either way she just wants it installed

@ it’s a single American bass Godzilla 18 on a 8k amp in a 6th order wall. Could add a couple k more watts and still be fine.

the wave you see is caused by the rolling shutter effect. basically the whole glass/door is moving in/out as a whole, but because the camera is taking each frame by scanning from the bottom to the top of the image there is a delay. this cause the video to look wonky. because the door had the time to move before the camera had finished capturing each pictures.

@@Rtboy954xx subs can still get low in sealed boxes. Ive had other subs flexing the entire roof in sealed boxes, something that only happens in my car on low notes. I think its more the subs. Some subs dont hit low as easy

@Luminous.Dynamics no it's absolutely the box. Get a properly tuned box and it will destory any sealed box. It can allow the sub to breathe and actually push air and get way better lows.
