Came off the road at Exeter Riverside with 50044 when I was route learning back in 1980. The rail broke as we were about to leave the yard.

@Dandaman V - hardly!! If you look at any map you will see a public footpath beside the line which is where I filmed it from! The correct side of the fence!

Not an issue as according to KZbin policies, all my videos that I upload are NOT for viewing / mean't to be viewed by children. It was a recent policy introduced by KZbin which you may not be aware of. Regards

Railway people do get understandably twitchy with incidents of trespass like this. What enthusiasts fail to realise is that all it will take is just ONE incident where someone is killed, or seriously hurt, to spell the end for Mainline Steam and tough new regulations for the Preservation Societies which would likely cripple them. Enjoy your photography and video hobby safely please!

The biggest crime was painting a king blue. They only wore this livery for a short while under one of BR's muddleheaded attempts at standardisation and never looked right in it whereas BR express passenger Green was close enough to the original colour and looked okay. In fact to my mind the only locos that did look good in it were the A4s.

I can assure you I was firmly the correct side of the fence. The tripod leg may have been over but thats it. The two photographers to my right where inside the fence which is why he was going mad!
