Thanks for the rigify tutorial for Blender 4.2. Sometimes It is hard to translate from older versions of Blender to the new system without multiple mistakes and curses.

Use make human standalone and the last addon for blender MPFB2 and you could use the same assets and the interchange is automatic between the two applications

hello I have both blender and make human I love all the cool ways you can use both softwares the only thing that kinda bugging me is that the figures are very realistic and I want to create more stylized character without having to model the entire thing from scratch

I'm stuck with an underpowered computer running 2.79 so I have to use a time machine to find tutorials. This is a good one! So much less frustrating than dealing with the nightmare that is cloth simulation in 2.79. Thanks from the future.

You need to make sure that you have the extra assets added that are mentioned near the beginning of the video.

Your welcome. Currently i would recommend make human as it has just been updated recently. Though I have not worked with my labs in a long while or been aware of any recent work on it.

All my planes count as 1 image. I dont have the uv selector tab as an option. I get im meant to link them... i sid such a bad job building the plane nodes, ill happily ressrt and make them induvidually

@@AlimayoArango wow, I've progressed alot. No, the planes were one image because they were one object. Noob mistake sorry. And even then.. I could have seperate them with knife. UV tab, it was under a setting to open it as an option... Countless tutorials I've been through. I'm stuck on painting a 3d object. Wish I could just wrap an image to it. But. That blurs it. UV mode is torture on a complex 3d model

Hey man I just wanted to say thanks! In 2017 this tutorial taught me to rig and I built all of our original rigs and animations off the back of this tutorial. Even now I still find myself revisiting it from time to time. That's the definition of good, long lasting content.
