got a REAL question I used SONY VEGAS 15 to edit a video. and want to color correct in DIVINCI,,, but for some reason when I try to open XML file in Davinci,,, it doesn't even SEE it from my FILE EXPLORER,,, and I've rendered it multiple times, with footage,,, without,,, PLEASE HELP... I've got a deadline in JUNE that I HAVE to release said video and I don't want to COMPLETELY RE EDIT the ENTIRE movie....

Hello, displaycal (python version) wants to give me an ACES lut or some other kind of intermediate lut for DCPs, rather than a monitoring LUT for rec.709. Is there a way to change this? The input color option only shows intermediate color spaces.

Hey, here's a weird question - how might you delay the start of this (or any) simulation. Say I wanted to have 3 "emitter planes" (to have multiple "launch" times and locations) and have one start kind of around when the last "embers" are falling from the first explosion, and then another right after that. Can a delay be accomplished through a geo nodes setup (unique setup for each emitter plane - 2 of them with "later" start times), or is there some other way to accomplish this? I tried keyframing the (enabled/disabled) state of the emitters, hoping the simulation would start once they become enabled, but the simulation seems to start and end at the same time for all of them, meaning its over by the time they are enabled.

I have some problem and thought to get the file. What is the price. It says $2 one place, $5 another, and in the text it is says you can get it for free. But change the value. Nothing happens. until i type in $5. The problem i have is that it looks like it creates a lot of "rockets" but dont look like what is shown on video. Up to frame 23 it slowing down the computer. But i can break it and get back to start.

It's a very worthwhile video if you're advanced in DV, but almost worthless if you're a beginner like me because he goes so fast, I can't tell what he's doing even if I stop the video and replay back several times.

Also sometimes Davinci resolve will set your second track to Stereo in one ear, I have no clue why. But go into the Fairlight tab, find the track and change track type to "mono"
