Your commentary is pretty ironic. First song, Carol of the Bells, is an ancient New Year's PAGAN prosperity blessing appropriated by a Christian. Stop imposing your religious beliefs on people.

Schedryk was actually an original composition that was inspired by Ukrainian folk themes. It wasn’t rebranded. The composer came up with it on his own. Therefore, the piece itself was not appropriated by Christians. The composer, Mykola Leontovych, actually studied in an orthodox theological seminary and remained very religious his entire life. So there is no evidence that this original composition, composed by a devout Christian, was “appropriated”. You are wrong.

As i listen to this streaming throughout my home and I prepare for dinner i feel very verkplempt, Missing my parents and family that are gone. Thankful for growing up in a Ukrainian household. and realize what a beautiful heritage I have. Христос народився.

Can anyone give the complete lyrics to the version of "Shchedry Vechir" at about 38:30??? The words here are not like the 2 versions i can find. it's amazing, but it would be great to have all the words.

@@jefflim1838Carol of the bells this is a mix Shchedrik and Kolyadok- Carol. Shchedrik is a song that is sung of the New Year, but Kolyadky - Carols sung at Christmas.
