You don't want to use wd40 because is can expand the caliper seals. Use brake cleaner.

Hi. Thanks first for taking the time to read me. I have a Honda PCX, year 2019. It now has 5,000 KM. Recently on my own, I changed the transmission oil (the first one). In the container where I drained the oil (I was curious) I saw that there was metal shaving. When I shined my flashlight on the old oil, it glowed like a bit of glitter. Other than that, I saw that there were very small pieces of metal, not many but there were. I don't know if this is normal for being the first transmission oil change, but it worries me a bit. The bike works perfectly and I do not notice anything strange, only that worries me because I do not think it is very normal that there are metal traces in the old oil. I am writing to you because (the bike is guaranteed) I cannot go to the official dealer and tell them that I have changed the oil. In the manual it says that it is done every 2 years. I just wonder why you need to unscrew bottom bolt? I release oil from the side where's the filter, and leave it on a side stand. I am in rental business and I have changed 10 honda scooters, never had an issue, always change oil like that bethween 3000-4000 km. I had more than 70000 km on 2007 sh150, pcx is at only 25000.

Crazy the dealers want over 100 USD for this.

hello good video, can i suggest you loosen the pads holding bolt when still on the disc. but not remove, and use brake cleaner not wd 40 to clean the inside of the brake as wd 40 is a light oil and can stop the pads working .

Thanks for posting, it's easier to loosen the retaining pin or pins a little before you remove the caliper itself...

At honda pcx manual says uses only jaso mb type oil. But you use jaso ma2 type oil. Is it alright to do so?
