100% correct... An annual plan costs about the same as a single tow and you have peace of mind knowing they will be there to help if problems arise. Unfortunately we had to learn our lesson the hard way, but now both our boats are covered.

The Mustang was fun, I wanted the big V8 but they didn't have any. It's probably a good thing, I don't want any speeding tickets... :) I'm putting the canvas video together now, if the FCPX gods are in my favor it should be out in a week or two.

Thanks for the kind words! I guess hitting the logs at idle speed is one way to keep things interesting, right? 😄 And I'm glad you liked the lights on the boat. Jen got the the lights on the bimini top from amazon. We secured it to the pole with zip ties and placed pipe insulation around it to protect the top from the zip ties. The rest of the lights are your standard LED light, with th ones on the bow being grid lights folded over the rail. I'll have to give 210 a try, we had a heck of a time keeping the windows clear.

Pretty close, I think the heater was about $30, and I already has the wifi switch. I'm sure a $400 mounted bilge heater would be better but we only have a few days of freezing weather each year. :)

Last time I checked the water was about 42 degrees. I’m sure it’ll drop some in the next week.

@@AnchorSwing you should be OK even at 42* and the extra precautions you have taken

Thanks, our cold snaps aren't generally that long or long. A few minutes of precaution can save hours of work.

We considered that when we had our new boat top made. But we decided that we liked having the back deck open so we didn't have to worry about the grill or exhaust from the portable generator. BTW - in the near future we'll have an episode covering the process of creating a new canvas enclosure. :)

Yep, we absolutely did away with the giant monolith windshield.

@@AnchorSwing yes great memories never really had any problems with it. Just normal wear out items and maintainance. Had full camper enclosure too.

Agreed... Unfortunately rising stress levels tend to amplify things, but as you stated refocusing is critical to moving forward. :)
