First one was an elimination, you have to hold R3 from behind an enemy. Second one was just a knife kill

This DLC's final segment reminded me of CoD Modern Warfare 2 (2009)'s Loose Ends mission and it's super hard download segment. At least we have a glitch to make this bearable solo, considering the AI's lack of I in AI.

Finally got this. I think there is a 3 second window were it works after you hit it so I see why he waits until the guard is about to detect him. Honestly the discovery mission tomb looter with the tampa bay map is so much easier to do this on. In round 2 you basically get a free block because with the defend round the guards have easy to see paths vs coming out of no were already invisible. Also you get coward enemies in just a few rounds which as long as you have your aim locked onto them have have the sabotage held down and set to release once the orange lines are almost to alert, you should be able to release it and they get alerted then get the eeeee sound that of ability blocked. Nice things is you can go through this mission quickly and the round timers are long so you can have 5 minutes to let your sabotage ability constantly reset.

I got better than easy Japanese mode!!! I got the Elite trophy without having to do it! I don't know why, it might be a bug but here's what I did to get it so you can test it. I finished the game one time in NORMAL mode and FRENCH language, got the BANDANA ending and received the code name "IGUANA". When I started the new game plus, the Elite trophy popped just like that at the beginning! Best bug in my life! 😁 Hopefully It will works for you too unless you want to do it legit! 😅

Patriot isn't needed nor Ocelots revolver since you get them after completing the game. You will get the trophy when you get the fork (after getting all the other weapons)

I'm not sure. In mgs2 I hadn't picked up grenades on the plant chapter in my first playthrough and when I picked them on my second, the trophy popped before collecting all the other weapons.

I think It only counts on one run. the game has to detect you have all in your inventory.

How do you download the Japanese version? I have the language pack installed, but I'm a little confused on how this works. Do I just launch OG MGS1, and pick japanese?

yup the original which is the first one and then choose japanese language. It will prompt you to download the pack

Yep, just got it. Make sure the language pack is installed, select OG MGS1 ( top game in the list), and select the japanese version from the list.

Yeah when you start a new game in Japanese version there is no option to choose difficulty and by default I think it is on easy (not normal)

Would be nice if English subs do get added in. I pretty much know all of the story anyway, but it's a treat to hear it in Japanese. I'm sure some of the dialogue was a bit different as well
