Yeh, without a GPS to clock it , you don't really know which prop is working best. Maybe next time.

Gday from WA mate, I reckon it was faster with the two blade, but revving higher..also was surprised and a bit shocked to see the brass prop under perform. You can safely run this baby on a 4C 4000mAh ...Once thats installed man, you'll get the results expected out of her. Shes got an 80 amp ESC so the boat will absolutely fly going to a 4C Batt mate...You could wire two of them in there for prolonged runs using the appropriate adapters. Id try a sharpened 2 blade brass prop or there is 3 blade i used to run in my Super Vee... Clocked at 95kph but i cannot remember the manufacturer. Would be awesome to see if you can get around to it someday! Great video! Take care bro *Subbed*

Hey MQ-4C, thanks for the tip. This one is still a work in progress for me. I bought it as a repair job, and have been slowly restoring it. Not much room inside to work with, but I will see what I can achieve.

i would check all temps after a hard 5 min run with that battery...if they were barely warm i would prop up a little and run again... the key is understanding props, many over prop and ruin batts, esc's and motors...

Looks good. Any improvement in speed or run time?

Hi Rob. The new battery was 3300mah so run-times are better, but no noticable improvement in speed. probably because the battery is that little bit heavier than the 2500mah, so the extra punch from the 80c is negated. I will put out another video soon with it running on 4s, which shows a marked improvement in speed.
