I received this game brand new for Christmas as a kid. In 1974 or 1975 I sold it at a flea market. Fun game!

Hi Danny, I just had to comment on your amazing home! Absoloutely dig your taste and fun sense of decor!! Wow, such a great two seater Diner you have in yout living room, or is that the other way around? ;-) Its so convienient now you can finish your 1950's meals, and then straight to that Pinaball machine for some relaxtion. Then heading through a Timeslip to the Garage, where time has stood still, albet that electric SUV, from the Future is an freakin anomoly! .... *remember Kids, don't go in there until the Crossing Light show its safe! ) Ha, what fun it must be to live there with so many theartrical toys and props! How I wish I has something even approaching your place. Thanks for sharing Danny, its been a Wild Ride surfing your channel. Thumbs Uo frome me :) :)

Thanks for sharing that! Halloween is big here in Japan, and it would be fun to decorate the house with all kinds of stuff, but everything's so expensive. Even a pumpkin (to make a jack-o-lantern with) is expensive!

How are you liking it? Can you notice the 4K ? Let’s hear your thoughts.. Likes and dislikes???
@dahur5 ай бұрын
Now that I've had it a few months.....Overall I like it. The Zen games all have flipper and plunger lag, and that's annoying. I'll be happy when/if they can fix that. I have 70 tables installed on the 4k so far, and I think I like the Gottlieb ones best, although there a quite a few others I enjoy playing too. I don't think it's true 4k, but just upconverted.

Amazing work! Any chance you can make a video about how you fixed one? I have one of these, never been able to get it going... The motor works but never turns off, the sprockets seem to spin when disassembled, but lock up tighter than steel when they stack back together. I'm stumped...
@dahur11 ай бұрын
I've rebuilt/repaired many dozens of Poynter Products Toys. In my experience, if the motor runs, and nothing happens it's always because of the gear(s). It's usually split and spins freely on the shaft. I use Delcrin gears as a replacement and you'd need one with the correct number of teeth and shaft diameter. I can't remember if on this one it's 1.5mm or 2.0 mm.

@@dahur Your collection is amazing! Is there any chance I can send you this one to repair?
@dahur11 ай бұрын
@@WHPratt If it was a more valuable toy, I'd consider it. However, you can find a working one of these on Ebay for $50-$80 usually. You may have to wait a bit, but they show up quite often. I think it would be more cost effective for you to find one of those and buy it.

I’ve got a 1972 one but it needs fixed. Would love to see how you managed to do it.
@dahur Жыл бұрын
I also have a 1972 version. They're smaller and engineered differently on the inside. But easier to work on and have less problems that its 1964 cousin. If the motor runs and nothing happens, it's usually the gear on the motor shaft.
@davidscott2821 Жыл бұрын
Motor still runs but the noise it makes now is horrific...really screeches. Have you made any vids showing you repairing these toys please? @@dahur
@dahur Жыл бұрын
@@davidscott2821 There aren't any videos I know of repairing the 1972 version, just the 1964 one, and they're not the same. Lift up the door and you should see a couple screws to take the cover off. Activate it with the cover off. Often times I've found a few drops of clock oil here and there will quiet them down if they seem too noisy, or they run sluggish.
