I thought about this song today, it's been a little while since I've heard it. It used to be played all the time on the radio. But today there was a protest at my college where a Pro-life organization was teaching. It was a large crowd and a bible was snatched out of one of the preachers hand and thrown in the air. I didn't see it happen, but I saw a girl running with I believe the same bible go up to a fountain full of mud and start ripping pages out and stomping on them. She almost slipped in the mud while doing so. I could only watch in sadness how everyone was and how they all opposed the religious speakers. This song played in my head and I began to think about what was Christ thinking about up on the cross.
