In Hebrew, God formed the man, Adam, out of the dust of the earth, that was the "Basar." The Basar was a lifeless body of clay. Then God breathed His Spirit or "Ruach," into the Basar, and the Basar became a living being or "Nephesh," a unified whole being. That's why you need a body in heaven. That's why Jesus was resurrected in bodily form. We are not disembodied spirits floating around in heaven. God gives us a new heavenly, pure body in the resurrection, capable of being with God in heaven.

Great video!! Never thought of a musket that way. Faith in the Blood !! Romans 3: 23-25 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Hello Ed, good to see you. I got me one of those things. Glad to see you talking about it the way you did. I think the Trinity is a well deserved name. Keep bringing the Lord's word to us. He will deliver us, if we allow him into our hearts. You are a godly man, Ed.

While I believe SOME of what you are trying to link the Bible to firearms is a bit of a stretch, this may be your best video yet. I was wondering what happened after the July 4rth videos. No new videos until today. We have missed you. Keep up the good work you do and God Bless you.

This is such an amazingly clear description of how a powder horn works. It can be hard to find a basic explanation of certain things and while I've seen plenty of movies with powder horns I had no clue whatsoever what they were all doing. Now I understand and things make so much more sense. Thank you!

it is a handsome piece. for range work, good ol' 5/8 inch dowel at length plus 4 would work. since 'some companies' do not drill out the touchhole, is this one prepared for the range, or not?

She has to be drill out my friend the place for the touch hole is marked or punched😊

Hi. My train of thought was: 1. Big leather ignition = meh 2. no leather ignition = Bam Bam! 3. leather cut to size of jaws = Bam? (with thin leather = easy cut) Me thinks reliable ignition is key in shooting the turky of your dreams though, one would'nt want to startle a dream turky whilst shooting at it. The face safty concern might be not an issue at all, just thought what could be an additional benefit of the leather. Probably put some padding on the flint back then to easy fit of 10k flint to 10k muskets as per contract or something Love the clayball-bread combo btw. Feeding the birds while having fun shooting dirt into dirt has to be the nicest use of a musket ever.

Nice to see how good a flintlock works without the leather. The leather strip could be partly an eye-safty-measure though. I looked into flints and what wiki told me was that flint is a close relative to glass with the different colorations coming from diferent forms of iron impuritys. Since yellow-reddish rust aint the most solid form of iron the black flints could be a tiny bit harder, but a flintstone is mostly glass like. I've never seen a flint in a lock blow into smithereens but if it did the leather/lead should keep it mostly away from the face. Maybe a thin strip of leather from an old work glove, worn couch or deer hide would work as great with the flint as it is without leather.

Thank you 🙏🏽 I appreciate your comment very much and we shall rethink this maybe extra dull flint only with no leather there is a point when you cannot nap the flint anymore to try to sharpen it almost impossible seems it’s a solid flake shattering if forced to nap the eye safety is a huge concern thank you for your input food for thought my friend food for thought God Bless 🙏🏽

Hello Ed and friends. I may have said this before, but the timing of that lock is spot on. We are talking about mili-seconds between pan ignition and load ignition. That is the mark of a well tuned lock. And there are so many purest that bad mouth India made muskets. Bah, humbug. Great guns.

Good morning Ed. I'm going to check out this musket you are shooting. The timing on the lock is great. One Tip on the flint. to sharpen, take a knife blade cutting edge. Keep the flint in the Cock, and tap the edge with the blade. It will chip off bits and you will have a sharpened flint. Have a wonderful day Ed.

Hi. I think the leather overhang beneath Franchy`s short flint could have behaved somewhat like a shower curtain, deflecting the sparks away from the pan. It did seem to be protruding about the same amount as the flint from the jaws of the cock. So she might function as intended, if you trim the leather a bit. Excellent attitude towards the silly side of existence btw!
