Ja. När jag hade egen skidanläggning, Wäsabergen i Älvdalen. Då lappade vi banden hela tiden på våran PB 260D och PB 270. Det går ett tag tills banden blir helt slut och går sönder. Vi tog ”bra” gamla band och skarvade över minst tre steg åt vardera håll om brottet om jag minns rätt. Det skadade bandet ligger kvar och det nya läggs utanpå. Man kan få byta till längre skruv för att få ihop bandet igen. På Kläppen har vi ett serviceavtal där det ingår två uppsättningar band på tre år så vi lappar bara banden som nödlösning.

Winter is coming! Will be interesting to see how the place looks when the snow arrives. If you don't mind me asking....do you have a well for water at the cabin or is there a piped supply?

There is no well at the cabin but the small stream that passes through the property is fed by natural springs near by. Good drinking water is not hard to come by up in them there hills. 🤠

We had a 50B with a Hymas digging attachment from Televerket. It is a really good machine but it seems like the original digging attachment was now built well. Nice video!

I bought new cylinders from Finland. costs around 200-300 euros each. my mf50 is not a restoration machine, I need it at work. I would have the front boom lifting cylinders for nothing. one dismantled and the other intact. I looked for gaskets, but new cylin ders turned out to be cheaper.

A shorter bolt with a different tread and cut the proper tread into them on a lathe.

@coredayo3027 I buy parts online from all over. Mostly from Sweden and EU, like seals for hydraulic cyliners. The steel seal for the slew motor we found in the USA. Good luck with your MF 50B.

Roligt att se nån annan som också fixar med sin traktorgrävare. Har köpt en 50B som jag håller på med elen och insprutningspumpen på ser att styrkolven sitter på framaxeln på din är det original och har du orbitrol styrning då?

I have a good old MF50B bachoe at home. Everything was working perfectly until recently. At work, the hydraulic hose of the rotary actuator started to leak, that moves the arm to the left. After replacing the hose, however, the problems started. Otherwise, the actuator works in both directions. When I let go of the command lever, the movement it stops, no matter which direction I move arm stop immediately. After a few seconds, if the bachhoe hangs to the left, the arm automatically starts to creep to the left. To the right, the arm rests even if the backhoe hangs to the right. I can't figure out what's wrong with the arm creeping to the left. I have already checked the check valve, cross line relief valve, cushioning valve. I swapped the valves between them. I checked the command valves. The problem is definitely in the rotary actuator. If I place a pressure gauge at the connection point of the hydraulic hoses and manually move the arm, it shows pressure on the right side and the arm stops, on the left side there is no pressure and the arm travels freely. I would be very grateful if anyone has any ideas what else could be wrong before I start disassembly the actuator.

Bredden är den samma som PB 600. Längden och motorn gör den till en fantastisk schaktare. PB 800 kommer inte som parkmodell just av den anledningen, den ska flytta mycket snö och ha ett bra fäste. PB 800 kan flytta MYCKET snö och kommer nog att passa bra på anläggningar som behöver schakta mycket kanonsnö på kort tid.

Great last video for the season! I’d say the 100 is like a fine tool in carpentry. Anybody can cut a piece of wood with a chain saw, but the carpenters turn that wood into furniture with the fine tools. So I consider you the carpenter. Bra fråga! Det går faktiskt bra. Vi har bra maskiner och bra underhåll. Det hjälper. Vi försöker vara klara med backarna i rimlig tid, oftast till 2-3. Sen måste man se till att vila efter jobbet. Man måste ”hålla” hela säsongen, även om batteriindikatorn blinkar rött på slutet.
